Okay! We sent the response to our RFE like 2 minutes ago.

And now I'm going to ask the same question @Meech just wrote...

@Shoegum hope you can help us.

  • So, after they receive the RFE response, how long it usually takes them to give a response? I'm just looking for an average time I'll need to wait...a week to two weeks? A month? Is there any way to have an idea?
  • And what the response can be? Like..can they ask for another RFE in case is not good enough?
  • Is the USCIS site going to show it when they receive it?

Sorry, so many questions...I'm going crazy!!! :jest:

It would probably be more beneficial if you ask the people who actually been through it. I suggest @K+D who been through it already and received an NOA2.

"Do not worry about anything, but in everything, by prayer and

petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, that is superior to every frame of mind, shall be garrisoning your hearts and your apprehensions in Christ Jesus."

Is there any way to have an idea? I would say 2 to 3 weeks average.  Better answer lies in few of these 645 pages in this thread :P
  • And what the response can be? Like..can they ask for another RFE in case is not good enough? Yes you can still get another RFE although not very common.
  • Is the USCIS site going to show it when they receive it? Flip a coin, sometimes they it updates to received, sometime it doesn't and just changes to approved when its approved.

@Shoegum thank you! We all know we can count on you!!!

@K+D Somebody told me you are an RFE expert...anything to add on Shoegum responses? :)

Alright i've copied the existing old spreadsheet for tracking RFEs. Lets fill this out. @Fiammetta @K+D

RFE Master List 2017 Edition.

You are the best!

I would just add a difference between when RFE was notified on line and when people actually got it in hardcopy in the mail.

We had it 7 days later!!!

Hi Guys, we received our Noa1 May 5th, Noa2 Oct 6th, NVC received Oct 19th, we were lucky to get our number straight away but now when I call they tell us it's it's AP and can't give me a time frame .

Its been nearly 4 weeks now and I've read we can be stuck here for weeks/months?

is anyone else having this problem? It's so upsetting !

Approval in hand followed by RFE.... hoping that RFE doesn’t have to be resolved as it’s already been issued.

@The Squirrel.....where are you at????????

I need counsel from my NOA2 spiritual adviser? What say ye?

Are the spirits in my favor for my approval coming this week?????

All is good, please worry not, it is on it's way. They manage to mess up a wet dream at the USCIS, but all is good. Send greetings to your Lion, and my congratulations. I am happy to see you stand here solid as a rock, taking it all in stride, "One eye man a king in blind man country" (I had to add that one in, love it B-)). Hope to have friends to embrace next time I visit the Island :).  Much love !
