I'm lucky. My fiancée lives in Manila.

There re are a lot of little "gotchas" along the way. If it is true that it will take 3 to 4 month to schedule PDOS that really kills me. I thought that would be the simple easy part!!!

Medical is good for 6 months I believe. CFO is good forever. Try to get there ASAP. They can get the stamp at the airport when they leave if they have their class certificate.

PDOS?

i was hoping to go there during the holidays to get her, but that seems less likely everyday

I hope so....In the Philippines, there is 45 days from NOA2 to interview. My timeline reset again today...one more day added....a day everyday for the last two weeks....(on Average) :)

Same thing happing to me. I did not know it was only 45 days that is better then i could hope. My fiancee is in the Philippines. Want to go back but hoping by december to be done with this all. We just hit 93 days since we got NOA1. Wish you all the luck

Hi everyone, I just found this forum but I filed in late May and just wondering if anyone in May has heard anything back yet?  Thanks in advance because this process can feel so lonely!!

Estibaliz got his noa2 back last week. he filed 4/28 i think.

I hope this is not true because if they are approving less because of the delay then theres not a lot of people to schedule for the CFO.

I have talked to one of the women that went on medical last month she said she was surprised because there are not a lo t of people in St Lukes unlike last year.

My friend wife came in feb and said st luke was packed. From what I understand the summer just takes longer. I dont see why they would apporve less. If backgrounds are ok and all paper worknisnin order there is not a reason to get approved.  This is first i heard about less being approved. I just seen from past and people i talked to just must apps right now.

Ran a scan yesterday, since last scan on July 27th, we have 1 more approval  on 8/14 that had NOA1 of 5/9/17 and We have 5 more RFE's sent on between 8/1 and 8/7 since.

You know I have no idea what "dates" to look at on my NOA1. When you state "5/9/17", what date is that on the NOA1; the "received" date or the "notice" date?

Thanks so much for doing and sharing this!

How did a NOA1 get approved so far out of order?

I see the WAC # on my letter mailed to me, does it have any significance?

I see the WAC# on this list all over the place

Thanks

PDOS is for her kids.  CFO is for my fiancee.  I was hoping for the holidays too.  I dont think that is remotely possible now.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

How do I check the estimate for my NOA2? I know some said the dates changed but I am not sure how to update it to see if its still the same.

Hit the timeline button under your pic....the estimate for NOA2 is there. You guys are one day behind us for NOA1, but the same for estimate of NOA2....9.20 to 9.26....However, it seems to update daily adding a day or two each day. When I started watching the timeline, we had an estimate of 8.24 for NOA2 review. Hang in there!!! it will happen....someday.
