I hope so....In the Philippines, there is 45 days from NOA2 to interview. My timeline reset again today...one more day added....a day everyday for the last two weeks....(on Average) :)

Yes...for us June filers too.  Now I am also concerned about a backlog for CFO seminar appointments.  I have read here (but not confirmed) that is can be 3 to 4 months to get an opening for the CFO!!!!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I hope this is not true because if they are approving less because of the delay then theres not a lot of people to schedule for the CFO.

I have talked to one of the women that went on medical last month she said she was surprised because there are not a lo t of people in St Lukes unlike last year.

I am still hoping to find out about the PDOS scheduling timeline for my fiancee's kids.  The good part about the CFO is you can do it anytime and it doesn't expire.  The CFO seminar doesn't require the visa so I suggest scheduling it ASAP.  Good luck.

At the rate they are going i'm worried they wont even start May until September 8

Although I  would not mind if they skipped the rest of April and went straight to May. Am I right, May filers?

September 8th is considered early September so they should be nothing to worry about.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

It only pertains to the Philippines.  I will try to move these conversations out of the general area.  It has to do with timelines and scheduling delays.

I see your timeline estimated the NOA2 date for two days ago.  Have you checked to see if any filers around your number have been approved yet?

The CFO Seminar is required for your fiancé to leave the Philippines.  Without the stamp Filipino visa holders are not allowed to get onto the plane.

CFO stands for Commission for Filipinos Overseas.  They have a mandatory 4 hour seminar for all Filipinos moving overseas.

I'm lucky. My fiancée lives in Manila.

There re are a lot of little "gotchas" along the way. If it is true that it will take 3 to 4 month to schedule PDOS that really kills me. I thought that would be the simple easy part!!!

Medical is good for 6 months I believe. CFO is good forever. Try to get there ASAP. They can get the stamp at the airport when they leave if they have their class certificate.
