Not in the USA, there is no mail delivered on Sunday. Maybe was delivered on Saturday, and you didn't check your mailbox until Sunday. USPS has a contract with Amazon to deliver their goods on Sundays, that is only work they do than.

There are some post office in USA which deliver on Sunday, I found this out recently. It's some sort of experiment or something they started recently, although they are known to deliver 7 days a week around Christmas time. I will run a scan in few hours and i hope we get a surprise

Nah my town has like 4 people in the post office so I highly doubt that is happening..

most post offices only have about 4 people working at any given time anyway ...Federal Union Jobs...lol

We just were informed by email that an RFE is on the way! I guess it's not exactly what we wanted to hear, but at least they have looked at our case! We filed May 15th. 

 

We weren't planning on this happening so we have few questions:

How much time should it add to our processing time?

How long did it take to receive RFE once mailed?

How long for them to approve once submitted?

I have seen people write about being able to sign up at the post office for notification when thing arrive? Can I do that for the RFE? If so how do I do that?

1. it would take 2 weeks to a month from what I'm seeing

2. For me, it took 4 days to get to me in the mail from the time they said I was RFEed on the online tracker

3. I'm still waiting. I submitted mine last week and they received it last week according to USPS

Also, how did you mail the RFE back to USCIS??? Did they give you an envelope to send it back in? Or is there a better way to mail it there so it get's there faster??

We are at 182 days. I called yesterday and spoke to a very polite lady on the phone. She said my case was outside of the normal processing time. She submitted a service request for me due to the case processing time. I received a confirmation that I would get a reply around November 24th - December 1st. We received out NOA1 May 11th. Ill keep everyone posted on how this goes. I still cannot believe how long this process takes. But hopefully this will push them a little. Good luck to everyone in May.

Don't some of the adjudicators work from home, too? I remember seeing something about that and I'm too lazy to look it up myself......all that typing and clicking.....

I am a May 3rd filer and received my NOA2 October 6th (and I know people from May 3rd are still waiting...). This process takes forever. I was losing my mind, couldn’t sleep, wouldn’t eat. Good word. I hope everyone is not totally focused on the NOA2 and neglect to look beyond it and prepare for the interview. NOA2 is a big one, but the interview is the ONE we must pass.

Personally ,I say cyborg. Most likely from another universe and still stuck in here for 180 days trying to obtain visa's and trying to emulate Calm....

 

 

They call me the 6 trillion dollar man. The "Calm module" was installed prior to submitting my Petition. It works to. Even when I got the infamous "request for extra-waiting" the calm module injected me with "nuke"(ref. RoboCop) and I was as calm as a lazy stream trickling in a meadow.
