We were supposed to provide beneficiary's birth certificate? It wasn't on the list..

I didn't include it either when I submit the petition. But someone got RFE because of that, even though I'm not sure she/he mean it petitioner or beneficiary birth certificate. I did ask, but he/she didn't reply yet.

Really hope it is not beneficiary birth certificate. If possible, I really do not want a RFE.

It is my understanding, that if you submitted Petitioners USPassport then no birth cert. is needed for petitioner on the i129-f

Yes, because beneficiary birth certificate is not included in the requirement for I-129F petition.

If it is Petitioner, I can understand that. Because in the document list required only need petitioner US passport or petitioner birth certificate.

I got a RFE on 3 November but still haven't received the letter in the mail to know what it is. So frustrating! Has anyone had their RFE letter within this timeframe?

We also didn't get a text or email informing us, I only know from the website. Is this normal?

It's just a process to them. We are just a workload to them.

I work in insurance claims and I imagine it's much the same as at my office, it's just another claim to be dealt with. This process has made me actually look at the human element of my own job more.

I so understand that.

This process made me want to do a job that will help people.

they are closed for veterans day until monday : (

I hope shoegum has some idea but what you can find around this forum - unless somebody who got it writes something-

Is also what we all guess.

like 3% of the scans are "document was sent" or "document was returned" instead of "case was received"... its crazy theres not one mention on this website historically from others talking about it... im losing it
