YOU guys are my life lines today. I’ve gotten nothing done at work which sucks for my patients but I keep checking to see if anything’s changed or posted approvals or anything. Supper bummed today even though I know I still have time.. just was hoping I’d be one of the few luck May 30th cases

Yeah that was me !!!! I got approved, after 171 days, (22may)  despite my number finish by 666 ahah

There were 11 May 30'th cases yesterday some approved some RFE  I think we will see some more approval and RFE's later today probably just not at the  rate we have seen the past week. Most of them are probably off today or took of early for long weekend.

My case HAS NOT BEEN transferred to the Philly local field office and the Tier 2 rep I spoke with even told me that he could see that my our background checks have recently come back cleared and all is good there. So right now I'm just waiting for an adjudicator to get to my case to approve it. He apologized to me like 100 times because he could hear the horror in my voice after I told him what I was told earlier. He said that he could see that she did put the service ticket in to go to the Philly office but that it's gonna get rejected because my case is not there. He said that the service ticket will not delay or move my case from where it is because it's a K1 visa and it stays at the CSC center.

 

He did say that they just updated their processing times so at this point I can receive my NOA2 any day now but if I don't receive it by the end of this month that's when I am to call back for to put in an inquiry, although since he doesn't see that I will be getting an RFE that it shouldn't take that long to get my approval.

 

I tell you.....these last 4-5 hours, I have gotten NOTHING done at work, I've cried by 4 times today, and didn't eat any lunch because I lost my appetite. All because she gave me the incorrect information. 

 

USCIS has no clue what emotional state they put us in with this process. But anyway...here's my update!!!!!

So happy for you this is great news background check is clear, i would definitely trust this tier 2 your approval is around the corner

I think it's a stall tactic. They are so behind that it is better to send RFE's to show they have touched your petition. It gives them at least 2 more weeks of time to process other petitions so they can show they are making progress.

Lol I’m usually  just a lurker, work keeps me busy enough. I’m off tomorrow so just super distracted with this whole September processing thing. And when that got fixed there was just so much going on that I couldn’t help it 

 

What holiday is it now!? Ugh  Just  give us our visas already. The hospital doesn’t close for holidays I feel like they shouldn’t either. There’s people waiting with their lives on hold for this stuff.

Thanks so much! At this point, knowing I cleared background checks, it's only a matter of time before I get my approval. I won't be calling them again, hopefully.

So wait.  We pay taxes to government.  We pay additional fees for these visas.  Then shouldn't they be working for us?  No more government holidays till petitions are caught up.  This is across the board for all.  They can all pitch in to help for the holidays (unless caught up).  Bet they stay caught up after one holiday passes without being off.

Guys, tomorrow is a federal holiday and USCIS is closed, hooray!!!!! 

 

is what I'd say if I worked for USCIS and wasn't waiting on K1 visa approval
