5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

Oh yes, indeed. But I have an RFE (Request For Extra-waiting) which adds at least a couple weeks.

Just tried calling and having them send me to a Tier 2 representative, but the lady would not let me go through. I am a May 15th filer and was just asking her if I could have more clarification, but she was saying that I am not able to have that. I asked her about expediting, but apparently don't qualify for that either. I also asked her if she knew as to why cases are not being filed in order and she tried to inform me that they do the cases in order...which we all know is not true! Basically, she told me there is nothing I can do, but sit and wait until they decide to touch our case. I did submit an inquiry, so let's hope that helps it speed up a little bit!

 

Today is Day 178! Let's have some approvals May 15th!!! Come on USCIS!!:)

I just contacted USCIS on live chat, they said they actually sent it on that day!

The good news is you don't actually need to wait 30 days to make a request for a copy like the case status states, you can do it in 15 days!

 

RFE....so now I'm obssessed with it!

What's usually in the envelope?

Is there a form to send back to USCIS?

Is there just a paper that tells us what USCIS needs?

We call USCIS and get no real answer, so this is getting frustating and disappointing.

 I called my congressman's office. They have a person who handles immigration. They made their own inquiry, but they, too have no idea when USCIS will actually respond.
