Good Morning My May Filers,

Again, congratulations to all that have received their approvals and have been able to move on to the next phase of this process. And again to all those that are still waiting like me...praying for each and everyone of you that we can have that victory dance today before the long weekend.

Day 171 - I'm starting to think that maybe for the first time I should put in an inquiry with my local congressman just to see if they can possibly scare USCIS to at least breathe on my case. Initially, I wasn't going to but by the time Monday gets here, I will be at 175 days and this is starting to be a bit much! I don't know...let's see what happens today!

For those that have received your NOA2's, please don't forget to update your timelines. Until I receive my approval, I will have to settle for living through you guys!

Good luck everyone and USCIS....well you already know what you need to do!!!! #makeitrain

Good morning everybody!

I really dont understand what is going on with them, my fiancé called some minutes ago, and asked about our case, and the girl took our informations and said that he will receive a called in 15 days to let him know what happened with our case because they worked may cases already and now they are working on September cases.

So, is there a posibility that they have worked May, June, July and August cases and haven't updated in their page? or is it just  those people that work in their service center don't know what they are talking about?

Maybe they had "K-1 day" at the adjudicators office and everyone stopped other types of visa to clear us out in one single day and try catch-up to get up to date before thanksgiving....... its a dream, but hey - who knows right?  That kind of push would take time to enter all the updates into the system on our actual case files...???

JUST AN OUTLANDISH THEORY....

Accoding to our scans and the september forum thats clearly not the case... but what happened is the better question

Customer service is only reading from a script which at this point they are going to tell you that they are reviewing September cases, but they are not. The point of the processing times chart is to give a "guideline" on where USCIS "should be". Meaning, according to where the should be right now during this time of the year, they should be reviewing September cases, but they're not. What the processing chart tells you is that they reviewing up to September 1st. Meaning, cases on or before that date are being reviewed. They put that there because they know people are gonna call and ask them, "what is happening with my case and when will it be reviewed etc." This timeline just gives them the room to say we are in the process of review cases up to this date, which keeps them compliant because a lot of cases (like May filers) are soon gonna be at 180 days so that would be that later we would be do to file an extension as our cases will expire if they don't get reviewed.

The best analogy I can give it is when a commercial says that everyone is up to 50% off - which means not everything is 50% but it gives that company room to play with the discount.

I hope I cleared that up for you.

Thats terrible, because people that are not in this forum, if they call and get this answer telling them they are working september cases, they will get crazy thinking that something wrong is happening with them.

Thanks to all of you for all the informations you provide us.

By the way, I want that what your image says, become truth today and everybody could get NOA2
