US citizens require a visa to travel to Nigeria. It must be arranged ahead of time or your airline will not let you board. There is information about this process here: http://www.nigeriaembassyusa.org/index.php?page=visas

I went last year for a project and it takes about a month to get the visa even if paying for expedited service. Cost is between $300 - $400 USD.

South Africa does not require a visa for US citizens. You'll have to look up Ghana's requirements as I don't know them.

my goodness this is so crazy thanks anyway

Why don't you just try and meet in other country, somewhere where you don't need visa or it's not as hard to obtain for visit and maybe not too far for her to travel if she is sick. But before everything make sure she really wants everything you do too, maybe your intentions are genuine but she may be the one that i not sure what she wants.Cause with an attitude like that from her she can just back out anytime and you will waste all your time on wrong person. But you two know the best anyway.Good luck

No offense but you really seem to have done NO research into her country, this visa or anything else really... its a little crazy to have spent this money, and know nothing about the process, all for someone who refused to meet you because of her period.

Her "sickness" was her period.  That is why she cancelled the previous trip.  I hope they work it out but I think some issues run deeper than just not meeting in person.

Exactly, that's why I told him to make sure they really want this before anything. But part about meeting was advice after and if they solve these other issues.Periods can be very painful but it doesn't last whole.month we all know that...

No she is the US citizen. He is in Nigeria. I would just out of curiousity want to know who paid for this Fiancé Petition to begin with. The petition  must have been in bad shape because it appears they are getting a NOID without a RFE first. Usually they allow you the opportunity to correct things first. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦‍♂️

Yeah they can be very painful, and heavy, and make you dizzy, and sometimes make you vomit. But moving along, I wish him the best and that he works things out for himself.

Hey! That must have been me!!!

And the date probably a mistake on my part too. NOA1 was May 30th. I probably clicked the wrong day, sorry everyone for the misunderstanding 😅

Also I would like to add that following some people's advice on here, we filed an inquiry just this morning. Not sure it helped at all, but oh well!

Congratulations!!!  :)
