Ohhh I know it may feel like it could result in nothing, but at least you're covering all bases and doing everything you can to get an idea of where things stand. 

 

Actually when we submitted an enquiry it was done by a tier 2 person my fiance spoke to originally on the phone - that's probably why the letter took so long. We didn't know there was an online way as they never mentioned it on the phone, but guess it's essentially the same thing  hope you hear something soon, but even better an NOA2 to bypass your enquiry.

 

Keep doing everything you are doing, you are nearly there!!

I do not want to hit 180 days. I'm getting sick of everyone at work asking me when I'm leaving and if my visa has processed yet. They don't understand how much goes into this... people outside of this situation are so naive to how long it takes!!

I feel you so so much on this one...It's so annoying when people ask you when you're leaving when you don't even know for sure yourself!

We're on day 190 today but that's because we got an RFE

So just in case nobody has noticed I'm at day 175, my VJ timeline says November 1 and I'm still here with no NOA2. All I can say is, let it rain ☔️!!!

You will be fine! Honestly I can really relate, I told all my family and friends not to mention the visa word around me anymore for fear of a very very large breakdown!

 

It's easy to say but try not to overthink, I was literally like a maniac a week before the approval and then I just got really busy at work and got distracted by normal life away from the waiting horror. Then it came! Although me and my fiance said even a RFE would have been ok just so we knew something was happening so I hear you on this.

Yes you will see it once it is approved. Normally below is the process for someone who receives RFE, so your case status should change to Evidence Received then to Approval. Sometimes it goes straight to approval.

is there something that they are asking more commonly in an RFE? 

Because we keep thinking what it can be... we've been super careful on filing! The only thing I can think of is if one of the picture doesn't precisely matches the standards 😳

I haven't kept track of all the RFEs, however the top two I have seen were forgetting to check a box on the i129F form or evidence asking for on going relationship and have met in person even after submitting the evidence initially.
