Well,  it might, just because the uncertainty. But, policy-wise, you are not currently subject to a ban.

And I thought us May 15th filers were lost and abandoned placed in the attic in a far dark corner. Approved and not know it or not approved and not know it, means only one thing I don't know it yet.

My apologies if you’ve been asked this a million times - are you scanning data submitted in VJ? Or do you have some sort of magical backstory access to USCIS’ metadata? I was wondering if people find out their decisions through our scans or, like me, I view your highly anticipated posts as an indicator of where in May USCIS is touching?

But the solution to getting an approved petition petition would be to meet the requirements. You have to meet in person within 2 years prior to submitting the petition. I would suggest working around her work schedule and her "monthly" schedule. Otherwise, you wasting time, and money.

It's a script that checks case status at https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do - same access as anyone else has access to. I just check status for Majority of May cases if not all.

It's the Federal Government. Big Brother knows everything . Trust me on this. Sign it for her and you stand a good chance of denial or worse. 

Having said that as Trinab80 said you can help her but SHE needs to log in and click the sign button. As to how they can find out. One way would be to see the IP address location of the computer that was used  when the "confirm/submit" button is clicked.
