The requirements are you are to meet with in 2 years of filing, what you might be thinking of is a hardship waiver do to religon or major health.

The only waiver allowed for not meeting is if it due to religious reasons.  There are no other waivers for that.  You will need to meet in order to get approved.

you are right my brother

If you don't mind me asking, what are the circumstances of how you and your fiancé met or were there already concerns or circumstances that occurred prior to you sending in your petition?

Kinda would help to know this so that people can provide some insight, although, you will have to wait for the notice to come in mail to see what USCIS rendered as a decision. I apologize in advance if it's anything negative.

my dear, i just wonder but the meeting requirement  is the major issue now

  • You met each other, in person, at least once within 2 years of filing your petition. There are two exceptions that require a waiver:
    1. If the requirement to meet would violate strict and long-established customs of your or your fiancé(e)’s foreign culture or social practice.
    2. If you prove that the requirement to meet would result in extreme hardship to you.

And a waiver is so hard to get, I have seen more people pardoned by the President than a hardship waiver to the meeting in person requirement.

Im sorry, he needs to find out the real reason she will not come, I'm certain Anemia and having a menstrual cycle is not the truth. Anemia is treated with an Iron Pill, or in rare really bad cases an Iron IV done monthly. Menstrual Cycles are not an Illness, I don't want to TMI but there are remedies for all women issues, a lot Over the counter and some given by a doctor.

so true my brother

Ok fantastic thanks so much! So why would he say it wouldn't speed it up when it clearly does? Also what should I say when I call them, just give them my case number and ask if they have my NVC number ready, I don't know the jargon for that.

Lawyers are there to make money obviously. They are very busy. More than likely he/she has already collected their fee from you for services rendered.

He/she would rather spend more time on new clients. Older clients waiting to be reunited with their loved ones is no concern to them. You are on the back burner at this point  they are focused on bringing in new clients.

All about the profit.. Have your NOA 2 in hand and basic info ready such as names and Dates of Birth.

Congrats again.

He is the one in Nigeria. I don't think an American would be trying to scam a Nigerian and then submitting a I-129F. Usually the other way around. But hey who knows !!!
