Ooo I see thnk you. I'm new to this site as I only just heard about it and starting to get sticky feet because we already have our wedding booked and my fiance is deploying at the end of January and I'm 171 days already. Feels like nothing wants to go our way right now

Well your date is almost started the processing so hopefully you'll see something really soon

Crazy, they are asking for things I already sent, proof that we met in person and letter of intent to marry. Who knows what the heck they did with it, probably lost it. So I sent it all again, hopefully I will get the NOA 2 within the next 2 weeks. Keep the faith pal, your day is coming!

I was hoping I'm the only one who this happened to but I guess not... :( Very strange

imagine a system where you can just fill I-129f online... and when there is actually a box forgotten to check it says you can't go forward...

a system where there actually is ally is an upload button to put your files and evidence! Where nothing is mysteriously lost!

a server that actually sends notices when someone in the end of approvalputs a check or in need of actual extra evidence sends a mail to your inbox from the  CO....

oh wait even this forum page can do it!!!!

Looks like that's too much to ask for... :D They're way behind and a system like this would actually be beneficial to them too not just us.

Hello everyone. Good luck to all waiting for the NOA2! It'll come soon! Chin up.

I'd like to share a concern I have now that I finally got my NOA2 last week. There I was preparing all the documents when I saw that I would have to present police certificates from all the countries I'have lived for more than 6 months after the age of 16. Ok. I lived in France for 1 year to study so I started searching how to get this document from the French Ministry of Justice.

I sent a request on the Ministry website and then I've got this reply:

The National Criminal register acknowledges receipt of your certificate n°3 application.
If your application is admissible, the certificate will exclusively be sent to you by postal service within two weeks.

Well, I tried to contact the French Ministry of Justice. They said I would have to wait for these 2 weeks to know if my request is "admissible" and if it isn't I'll have to make another application and wait for more two weeks. . I really got desperate. Then, in addition to the online request in their website, I mail them my request explaining the reasons why I need this document. Again, I contact people from the ministry and they cannot give any answer about whether my demand is gonna be met or not. Jesus Christ!

Is anyone else experiencing things like these?

Do you guys think it will be a concern if they dont send me this document?

So tired of this process and waiting. I can't fill my day anymore or stay any more busy. I have been consumed and their is only one cure available to me. I can't buy it or trade for it, it had to be given by someone that just sees us as a number. Day 176, Monday was depressing, a lot of activity and nothing relative close. I had high hopes when I saw the case prior approved on 11/2 and the case after on 11/3, really put a lot on Monday's approvals and struck out. Don't even think I was in the game. Our case has to be looked at I would have thought My name isn't common so I don't see hits coming from that. Nothing in my background to cause delays. I submitted 6 trips of proof, photos everything I could possibly add. I know my petition is front loaded maybe this causes the longer waiting or processing but really how much longer a few more minutes or so?

you know, that's what i thought USCIS would be using before I started this process. you know, it's logical and efficient to use an online system. I was shocked...surprised...to find out they want things by snail mail!

SO EXCITED!!! We just received our NOA2 today in the mail, after 175 days we are finally moving forward! Its been a long haul but the longest part is over, I hope the rest of you get yours soon! Just a quick question, our lawyer says we shouldn't call the NVC to get our number because that wont speed up our case but I constantly hear you guys saying the opposite so what should we do in respect to that?

Congrats to you both on receiving your NOA2!!!

Please create your timeline and add your dates so we are able to follow your journey!! :D

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)
