I’m 22th filer,  just glad seems many May filers were approved, even though some haven’t had yet... I was so frustrated with this wait until 150days, but as day passes, 166days now, I’m getting calm because we  would be together someday at least. I am really worried about my son’s school here in Japan if he finishes his elementary or not, and his teacher rushes me to know when we move to the US though.

At beginning or middle of this May filers forum, there was a woman who lost her fiancé in an accident while waiting for NOA2. I couldn’t say anything to her, but always remember her words that we  would be able to get married in the end, but she could not have done.

This waiting is really killing me, I am dying to fly to my fiancé, but just always dreaming about him and our wonderful married and family life together supporting each other.

I really appreciate that everyone here shares thoughts, knowledge and experiences. I check here before work everyday, and feel happy as know some are approved!!

Just wish we all get approvals soonest!!

Hi!

In the end when you move what Japanese schools are saying won't matter so try not to worry yourself. You have time till march. And even so he will probably start school in September when you move. Because there will be the blank time between grades (that's what I did when I was in japan for high school and I had to wait till September for my new year)

I know they push in Japanese schools but well not your fault 😊

And the embassy seemed pretty pretty empty for k1s and for medical too, ask them when no one else goes, I asked and they told me, for the one I'm going was wendsday mornings were empty most the time... that is when I used to think I would get a noa2 by December (I'm a September filer so that is not going to happen)

You'll know everything before the semester ends!

Thank you for your message. Yes, my son would have blank time but will soon enter the school in US, my fiancé lives in Hawaii and with son too, just don’t want to wait for until March or April, because have to prepare for junior high school here, like get uniforms, bags, shoes,,,... like over $200!! Just have to ask documents for his school soon, because their work is slow!!

Oh oh good to hear!! Hopefully I can book interview by middle of December, so we could enter the US by middle of January!!

Thank you!

I am having withdrawal symptoms from Norepinephrine, and endorphins, oxytocin since I haven't seen her in so long. LOL...... Only one antidote or cure is NOA2 and K1 Visa in hand. :jest:

No kidding....I broke down and am flying to the Philippines Tuesday for 9 days....I am really not feeling good about May 15. So many approved around us, above us, below us. HEE HEE.......I think since I have lived in so many places (was in the Army for 4 years), my background check is slower or something. If I could bring back some Oxytocin for you, I would..... :) I can't wait to get a dose next week.

Hi everyone.

This new I-129f confuses me. I just want to make sure we filled up the form correctly.

Current mailing address and physical address are the same.

Question:

1. Physical address 1= leave it blank?or input the current mailing address?

2. Physical address 2  = other addresses where he live for the past 5 years. Is that right?

Thank you much.

Thank you. It's hard! I'm at 176 days today. Which is okay, I don't mind waiting a little longer because my dress is still being made. We're hoping for a March 2nd wedding just to be safe that we have enough time and are approved in time. It's just not knowing. And watching us get passed up. Scares me a bit lol fingers crossed for Monday! They're moving a lot faster than they were a month ago.

I know it will be a beautiful March wedding.  They will get to you soon.  Before you know it you will in the arms of your loved one and finishing up the planning for that wedding!

Hey VJ Family,

Question - You know how they require "a police certificate from every country where he/she resided for at least 6 months after the age of 16." is this serious stuff? I studied in India for a period of 4 years.. do I really have to get certificates from them? And how?

I am a canadian born who was there for just 4 years.

Yep.  They have held visas after the interview until the paperwork is submitted.  Try the India's Embassy or consulate in your city.  There may be some lead time on that so do it ASAP.
