I'm hoping that's the case! I keep popping in everyday for Shoegums scans as they're far better than the app haha. Just keeping my fingers crossed that I'll see 38117 on there soon!

This kind of attitude is not ok. We are all in this together and I understand it's frustrating that you haven't heard an update for your case yet but please don't take it out on other people in this forum.

 

Nobody is being insensitive to you, this is about all of us and we are all in this together working towards the same personal goal but it doesn't mean we are all at the same stage. Just because someone posts about cases after yours doesn't mean they are being insensitive. They are FOCUSING ON THEIR CASE JUST LIKE YOU ARE FOCUSING ON YOURS !!!

 

So please, calm and let's be positive. There is nothing worse than negativity to bring your own morale down.

Agreed, I feel for this person because there's obviously a lot of negativity and anger. I do understand where it's coming from. At times I get so down and end up lashing out at my fiance as if that helps. Point is it doesn't. The best way is to stay positive. This site isn't meant to tear each other down. We are all going through the same thing. It's easy to be envious of others who have their love but try not to. That hostility isn't healthy. Good luck to everyone. I know this process is horrid but we have to stay strong!

He is an amazing man.  It’s easy to judge when you don’t know the situation. Many people (not just him @PKG1090) have said that it hurts to see people at later dates talking about how bad it is for them....it’s bad for all of us. Express your frustration. That is fine but please know that there are people that have been waiting longer that may also be frustrated...maybe even more frustrated than you are. I know it’s hard to imagine but everyday is worse than the day before. We have 173 days of frustration, depression, anxiety, stress, and loneliness and just when you think it’s not going to get worse...it just keeps getting worse. Not knowing when it’s going to happen. Wondering if someone lost our case or if there is something wrong. None of us have a clue what our futures hold...there is nothing worse than not knowing when your going to hold the person you love so much again.  I’m sorry that all of us are going thru this but my sympathy lays more with those that know nothing since May 11 or before.  ...and of course us (just because I care about our case most...as all of us do). Just be respectful that there are people that have waited a hell of a lot longer than all of us and they really just don’t want to hear it. 

 

Do not laugh or mock other people...it’s not necessary. He was making a general statement that wasn’t pointed at anyone. There is no need to go after him. He is extremely frustrated with this whole thing. We just want to be together and it is very emotional for both of us....for all of us. 

 

To both of you, I totally understand you are frustrated.  I myself am a June filer, so I don't know how I can dare allow myself to speak at all, but I do feel the need to point out something that nobody else has pointed out.

What YOU are doing, and have done in the past, by pointing out that YOU are waiting and have been skipped, in 'insensitive' by your logic to those before you, both in May, and also April, March, Febrauary etc who have moved on into this thread to try and keep track of their own status amongst the new set.

Thats nobodies fault here, and everyone should be allowed to express their frustration.

I'm at 145 days and I'm pissed off.  Does that mean I'm not sensitive to you, and all those others who have waited longer, and seem to be getting skipped... No.  When I do get my approval, must I abstain from posting my joy in here and sharing it with everyone else, for fear of offending those still waiting...? No.

Don't leave.  Just let go of that jealousy, and be secure in the fact that this journey is almost over.  A day, a week, or even a month is nothing compared to the 6 months you already waited.   Your time in now. Trust in that and lean on everyone else here going through the same thing.  We can't start tearing each other down when we're so close to the end.

There is no real logical answer.. 

it may be a person working from home that have most of the in between files.

 

my theory is because may 22 and 30 are the biggest batches they have, they are trying to somehow touch all over May. Otherwise they will end up updating their processing timelines as may 1 for 3 months and that is not good for their quarterly goals.

I’m 22th filer,  just glad seems many May filers were approved, even though some haven’t had yet... I was so frustrated with this wait until 150days, but as day passes, 166days now, I’m getting calm because we  would be together someday at least. I am really worried about my son’s school here in Japan if he finishes his elementary or not, and his teacher rushes me to know when we move to the US though. 

At beginning or middle of this May filers forum, there was a woman who lost her fiancé in an accident while waiting for NOA2. I couldn’t say anything to her, but always remember her words that we  would be able to get married in the end, but she could not have done. 

This waiting is really killing me, I am dying to fly to my fiancé, but just always dreaming about him and our wonderful married and family life together supporting each other. 

 

I really appreciate that everyone here shares thoughts, knowledge and experiences. I check here before work everyday, and feel happy as know some are approved!! 

Just wish we all get approvals soonest!!

Then next week we may see May 29th being processed, that date has over 400 petitions I think. May 15th over 300 and May 22 in the middle somewhere. 15th, 22nd and 29th are heavy Mondays in May. I can almost bet they are pulling the easy ones, and getting them pushed through as fast as possible. Another theory....uneducated guessing.... In between dates maybe... one case in between two other approved cases in two days I doubt it. I doubt a individual case was removed from a box and take home. But "I know nothing, hear nothing see nothing"......

I do think that is also plausible.. I think they would likely to finish at least easy ones faster to gain numbers.
