my fiance is from the philippines as well. i'll be visiting her in 2 weeks. i feel your pain regarding the tourist visa, but i believe that policy is enforced due to many filipinos overstaying their visas in the US.

Oh sorry i wasn't clear, I meant the estimated date from my timeline here in VJ. It's not something official, we can't have that, sadly.

Off to the Philippines in less than 2 weeks. 

Hope USCIS blows through about 5,000  approved I-129F cases when I'm gone.

No need to be rude. 1 month, 4 months, 12 months.. it's all long when you are separated from the one you love. We are here together for support and information. Agreed. I cry when I see his face. We do have Netflix dates quite often though. Watching the same movie on a relaxing day. That's nerdy, but nice

Lets all just think that this is the last leg of waiting.... after this no more crying and goodbyes in the airport. To be honest we've been doing this for 5 years but we still cry when I leave. It always feel like the it was the first time

We've been together 5 years too. Fully together for 2 and apart off and on now for 3.
