Actually, I am the one making people relax.  You are telling them that they should have been approved weeks ago and it is their fault they aren't because they didn't drink your Kool Ade.  I am telling them they will get approved on a realistic timeline.  June 1 filers are at 155.  On Monday they will be at 158.  Do you still say that they will be approved by 160?  The rest of May and June 1 will all be completed in 2 days?

Ease on up on the mouth big man, carton box, Kool Ade, just easy. Hung up on me instead of your process, little weird don't you think ? Let people talk about their petitions, progress and such, take your ticket price talk to regional Philippino forum, there will be appreciated, or open a Travel Agency. Months ago you said you were "thinking" about letting your kids finish school in April, which is what you decided before hand. So you got plenty of time to chill, why bother people here, why bother yourself with timelines or anyone else? Take a breather, you killed all moral in a group of 300+ people, happy with yourself?

This is sad submitted ds160 and gotten paperwork ready on both sides just need to book flight to her in the phils and now at stand still again stuff is still at NVC not transit or ready.... gggggggggrrrrrrrrr

Their system is just slooooow like what happened to me. My case changed from 'in transit' to ready in a matter of 2 hours. They must have sent my case using ICBM lol

I think they send everything electronically. Have you booked your interview date? I would wait for case to become READY before booking the flight just to make sure hehe

I killed it?  According to you, none of the people are even here anymore.  They have all been approved.  That is the Kool Ade.  It seems to me that 170 is pretty darn accurate.  What do I know.  I didn't do a bunch of calculations and analysis.  I just used logic.

Assuming that my accurate estimate is what killed the morale here is pretty weird.  If the morale was killed it was due to May being the first month of the big slowdown after the change in visa priority.  Maybe even killed by people preaching unrealistic goals.  Claiming that I am the reason things slowed down seems a bit strange...even for you.  160 is simply not feasible.  I think you knew that all along.

This is not personal.  It is about the process.  I have no animosity against you at all.  I simply don't agree with your hypothesis.  I believe it is flawed and that your conclusions are not feasible.  That is all.  I mean no disrespect.  The Kool Ade is for your persistent and unsubstantiated support of a conclusion that is not logical or feasible.

The last group of approvals just minutes ago were from days 186 and 185.

You have the weirdest luck Murph...however, I would love to trade status' with you....stuck in May 15 somewhere while we watch late May filers rejoice. But again, your visa journey certainly has been unique HEE HEE......I tell others about your experience and they just shake their head...approved for 17 days before you knew...wow :)

Well look at it this way my last name is murphy and it follows murphy law exactly...lol.     Murphy's law is an adage or epigram that is typically stated as: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong"

Guys....there is not right or wrong nor logical or factual analysis to this whole process. Let's try to keep tempers and sarcasm outside of our forums as there's already enough tension and frustration to going on as it is.

Morale will only be "killed" by all this back and forth rhetoric that is unnecessary and uncalled for. And either way, it doesn't help nor change the fact that we have to wait! So, let's try to keep things as friendly as possible. :)

Agreed.  I apologize to the group.  I hope everyone gets their approvals as quickly as humanly (or USCISly) possible.

After talking with the kids, they decided that they don't care if they finish the year there.  They will have to take placement tests here anyway.  The plan was to wait but they decided to come as soon as possible.  That did add to the stress since it will speed things up for us.  School ends in March in the Philippines.

I don’t believe you have anything to apologise for. I for one value your comments, estimations and input here. I don’t think you’ve ruined morale or said anything out of turn.

Keep doing what you’re doing!

At the end of the day, it will happen when it happens and I think people need to understand that none of us actually know when things will come. People need to stop pretending to know everything. Some people just like the drama. I for one wish it would stop.

"Its just another night, and I'm staring at the moon. I saw a shooting star and thought of you. I sang a lullaby by the waterside and knew, if you were here I'd sing to you. You're on the other side as the skyline splits in two. Miles away from seeing you... I can see the stars from America, I wonder do you see them too?"

All of the stars - Ed Sheeran. Though I like the version with Christina Grimmie (:

I thought everyone could relate to this.

That is my flight....LAX to Manila. I have done it several times and am very happy with Philippine Airlines for international flights...very good service...once in the Philippines and island hopping, the airline is average...but always excellent on international flights. I go Tuesday to Manila.

Enjoy your trip!

Consider leaving her some luggage to bring things back to USA unless he has luggage already

Just a thought as that is what I did.

No one said that his opinions or input was not wanted or appreciated.

My point to both John and Squirrel is the negativity that they both were conducting within the forum and THAT adds no value to process but instead only creates more tension and "drama".

At the end of the day, all we can do is give "guesstimates" and predictions, no one has the final say but USCIS. Everyone's feedback is appreciated, and we should know how to agree to disagree without taking jabs at one another.
