The trouble with Manila is there are no direct flights.  We have to fly to Korea, Hong Kong, Malyasia or Japan to get a flight to Manila.

I looked on EVA's site and the prices were around $585 for late March to early April. Of course, until I get Noa2 notice no plans can be made. :-(

I have yet to go there.  I assume that I will be as soon as Rose and the kids get to Chicago! Cmon NOA2!!!!

It's really nice. I felt like I was in the Philippines, because I was the only non Filipino in there. I'm sure they thought I was crazy because I was taking pictures and sending them to my finance. lol

I've never even been there in the Philippines.  Now if they would only get an Inasal here!  I will make sure we hit Jolibee in December when I go to PI

That would be sweet! It amazes me how so many American restaurants are overseas, which is nice, but I sure like eating the local non-American type of food.

How good is the friend? Ask him if he can make you a registered guest of the airline; if that happens he will be able to put you on standby, fare free (charged only for airport fees and taxes).

As we go into the weekend with hopes of having a strong approval rate for today, I once again encourage everyone to please review and research the next steps after you receive your NOA2. Everyone's Embassy requirements are different from the next and even though we can provide information to assist you and have no problem with helping each other out with questions, it is best and highly recommended that you read up on what is next so you can be prepared and stay prepared as the next phase does move extremely fast, but it only moves as fast you want it to. This website provides many helpful links and resources, so please utilize them. At the end of the day, each of us might be going through the same process, but everyone's journey is different so what may be good for the goose is not always good for the gander.

I am a June 26th filer,and i am on may forum to see what i have to do next after i get noa2..but my problem is its not may peope on here from haiti so its hard to figure out or ask for help. As well as im npt good with technology let alone knoe hpe to use this site properly..the only thing i know how to do,is look at timeline,and read and comment on may and June...Im so lost on the next step....i have my income ready but thats all. I havent found any one willing to help my fill out the affidavit of support (i just eant to make sure im doing it correct)...what do you suggest...Thank you
