I found a couple for $585 on Asiana, but not sure if they are a good airline or not.

I flew Asiana on the last trip!  They were awesome!  The Asian airlines really treat passengers well.  If you like kimchi, they are a definite go to airline!  The food was awesome and they were simple so polite and friendly.

That's good news then. Not a Kimchi fan, but I can eat about anything else. Last couple of times I flew Korean Airlines and really liked that, but a bit more expensive. My good friend is a United Pilot, wish he could get me some free tickets. lol

Ask him to be put on his "Buddy List".  That is how I am going in December.  I have a friend who is a mechanic at United.  You can basically fly for the cost of the taxes.  We went to Vietnam last year and we had First Class seats ($20,000 tickets) and only paid about $375 RT.  I've flown to Manila in Economy Plus for $75 RT.  Ask him to put you on the list!  It is a stand by seat so it is up in the air until you board but it is worth it!  I still usually just buy the tickets because the chance of getting bumped and missing the second leg from Narita or HK is too stressful.

I will check that out.  Right now Asiana at $585 is the winner.  Have you flown EVA?  How are they?

I've flown Eva to Thailand recently. Prices are good and the service is pretty decent for mid-level south Asian airlines (that is to say better than US-based airlines but no Emirates). I thought the food was terrible, but that's probably not a deal breaker. :)

I've never flown on EVA before. My last trip was with Japan Airlines out of Dallas via Narita. I paid $542 round trip with them. Usually it's cheaper and more convenient for me to fly out of Springfield to Dallas, but prices have doubled. I'm planning on driving to Chicago and parking my vehicle at my cousin's house in Downers Grove and he's taking me to the airport. I'm buying RT tickets for my fiance and I, and cancelling her return leg, because it's cheaper than one-way.

Good Morning My May Filers,

Happy Friday!!!! Congrats again to all that have received their approvals and are not moving into the 2nd phase of this process; and a good luck and to the rest of us who wait patiently (or impatiently) for our "Golden Ticket".

As we go into the weekend with hopes of having a strong approval rate for today, I once again encourage everyone to please review and research the next steps after you receive your NOA2. Everyone's Embassy requirements are different from the next and even though we can provide information to assist you and have no problem with helping each other out with questions, it is best and highly recommended that you read up on what is next so you can be prepared and stay prepared as the next phase does move extremely fast, but it only moves as fast you want it to. This website provides many helpful links and resources, so please utilize them. At the end of the day, each of us might be going through the same process, but everyone's journey is different so what may be good for the goose is not always good for the gander.

Wishing everyone in here Good Luck, and praying for a monsoon of approvals today!!!!  :D

Amen, thanks for the advice and hope today can be a very nice day with a lot of approvals for all of us.

Blessings!

Me and the lady submitted our DS-160 today but after talking we have decided to schedule everything in january to allow more savings and let airline ticket prices drop some more, December is high priced no matter which way we look at it.

Try Spirit Airlines that's the airline I took to go see my fiance twice and they are very very cheap they don't go everywhere but if your location is there I definitely suggest you try them for the last 3 days I received a email with 70% off 80% off and 93% off the normal ticket from California to Dominican Republic is 398 and that's the normal price and still cheap and the discounted price was 240 and I seen it as low as 140 so sign up for the mailing list now and every week you would get different discount 40% off 50% off all the way to 90% off

I'm praying for us all
