The USCIS got my beneficiaries date of birth wrong; the birth certificate was read incorrectly by the USCIS . I updated it and received notification that it has been updated within 3 months of filing. Will this lengthen my NOA2 timeframe? I am a July filer, FYI. Thank you!

No it should not delay it, will have the original received date thats on the NOA1 letter.

For Mumbai, how long is the approximate process to get the Visa once you get a case number from NVC? or how long does it take to get interviewed?

2-3 weeks :D

I’m curious - does anyone know how long it takes them to review an application (on average)?

Probably around 5-20 minutes depending on complexity. Sometimes delays can occur when they are waiting on security checks to go through, but in-hand it doesn't take long at all. There's just a big back up right now for a myriad of reasons unfortunately.

You meant hours/days, not minutes right?! That seems crazy low.

Are you talking about the I-129f?  Or another part of the visa process? I may have misunderstood the question, but the petition review and approval/RFE decision is very quick once in hand.

@Trinab80 you have no idea how much I feel you! My heart is broken, we miss each other so bad!

In addition we have 2 kids (technically his kids) waiting for me in the US, they grew up with me...

I ran out of explaination for all this waiting, obviously for them this starts not making any sense waiting for so long just because "my passport is red and I need a blu one"!

They keep telling me "....so just go get a blue one!" :(

I don't just feel horrible everyday that pass by because me and my fiancé can't see each other (and we are definetelly too far for a week end!), but I'm feeling I'm missing an important part of their life :( months are ages in kids life!

I understand why immigration needs to be this strickt and coscious, but I can't understand timing!

We both have clean records, I never overstayed a visa, never was rejected, we are together since more than 4 years, raising children together, living together in my country, and now just because he has to be back home I have to give up a year of my life with him :(

Sorry to take it out, I feel like people here can understand me

I'm sure everything will work very soon for you guys. Just like me, we are almost at the end of the tunnel!

If and when that happens, we would just create another forum and name it "I-129F May 2017 Filers #2".
