Hey Guys! I just went to my medical yesterday and I wanted to share my experience with my fellow Dominicans.

I went to Consultorios  de Visa because they send the results to Santiago for free and the other place doesnt. There is no official parking but I did park at the informal parking service right next to the building for $200 pesos.

It is first come first served, I got there at 7:00 am and there was at least 10 people in line ahead of me.. It took me about an hour (maybe more) in line to get a number (not sure why) while we ere in line we had fill out a form with basic info and hand out the email from the embassy and the appointment confirmation page. after I was assigned a number it was about 50 mins to have my number called in to pay (I was #51) after that the medical part was very fast and smooth. Xrays, labs, medical exams, and vaccines. I was allowed to go out of the facility to go get some extra cash for my vaccines. And they have lockers to put in your cellphones as they are not allowed in the building.

I noticed that after 9 almost none one came in.. so people coming at this time didnt have to stand in line.. they would just go right in and get a number.

I was out by 11 am and headed to get some lunch, VAC appt, and then back home.

The vaccines did make me ill (tiredness, headaches, light fever, and my right arm still hurts) but i am very sensitive to that kind of stuff.

Hope this helps someone!

my suggestion is do the VAC appt first and then go to the medical when the line is shorter.

Buena Suerte!!

Hi, good morning!

Thanks for sharing your experience with us, I really appreciate it.

I have some questions.

1rst. What is VAC Appt?

2nd. how much is everything?

3rd. Do you know if they accept debit or credit card?

Thank you so much for your help!

I have to add... this is page 493, in 7 more pages they'll block this topic.

Since it seems I'm technologically "slow"...can I know in advance where/under what name will I find the new opening topic?

I thought blue were the ones touched by November 1st

now I'm confused

Look at 5/31 on the graph you see 80/80 no touches what so ever, then look at 5/1 you see 253 orange/37 blue it would seem that May 1 has 253 touches and 37 still waiting at the received level, so more orange than blue is the positive side.

Yes, but in that case, so many have already been touched on 5/30 ?

That would seem strange (other than discouraging for me)

So if I understand this correctly, each column it's the total of the cases they received on that day, then the blu are those that were approved by Nov 1st and the rest in orange is what's left?

Sorry I feel very dam I can't understand this graphic! :( So I am May 11th and I still waiting means I'm in the 92 blue part?

So that means on May 30th they received so many cases? Sorry I'm very confused :(

Oh yes you are right!!! We want no oranges 🍊

and yes that's what I gathered from that graph too.

The way I see it The orange represents the total number of cases and the blue is how many are left to be approved. So we would want more oranges than blues. Subtract the blue from the orange and that is how many cases have been approved for that date.

tpeach got it right, we want it to be all orange. there's several graphs which can be created depending on what exact date you are wanting to see.

In this graph, May represents number of how many cases were in the received section at end of May (Orange Color) and Nov 1st represents number of Cases left in received status on Nov 1st (Blue color) so as cases are touched they are moved to some other category such as Approved / RFE / Withdrawl  etc. The more orange we have the better as blue is filled with orange it means cases are being touched.

No the opposite way of thinking. 80 cases submitted for the day of May 30th orange. No cases touched for May 30th blue.

So 5/30 - 448 cases originally, on Nov 1st they are 422 left. 26 have moved to another category from received date most likely all 26 moved to withdrawal if not few gone to transfer to another center or something along that line.

I got it. I haven't done many since school either but I read them all the time. Usually have to look at what is changed and what isn't to figure out how they work. Always a better way to skin a cat...

Hey, you are welcome!

the VAC is the place where you go to put in your finger prints and they take a photo of you, it is located at galeria 360. You will have to make an appointment there after you fill the ds160

for adults the cost is 275 dollars + 150 dollars for the vaccines.

they only take cash, but yoy can pay in dollars or pesos

good luck!

Live, love, laugh.. and try not to think too much about USCIS
