I tried to call, it did not do any good. Same old story - wait for another month and then call back. Can file an inquiry after 180 days.

I am leaving to Russia on November 24 just for 9 days. Hoped we can come back together, guess it is not going to happen.

I actually got transferred to Tier 2 officer last Friday, but he did not tell me much either.  Is your NOA1 May 9th too?

My received day is May 11. I called three times, two times I was not transferred to Tier 2. The last one - I was but no information. Just wait for another month, it is in process... I guess it means general process....

I feel you. I hoped we would spend Christmas and New Years together, but I guess it is not happening either.  We have been together for 7 years and finally decided to get married and now it takes forever to get approved.

Awww....I am always here, most times just lurking and reading other people getting their approvals. I've been quietly lately because this waiting has really gotten to me and I don't want my sadness and frustration to overshadow or damper the happiness of others getting their approvals. 

 

But trust me, I'm always around!

I know that feeling. Sometimes fell ashamed myself - I am happy for people to be approved but this thought - why not me, why? Especially when they are behind you in this line. I understand about the process... it is just this waiting is really hurting you so much. There are days when I do not even want to check this app when I hear the sound of notification but then you can't resists the temptation and you press this button on your cellphone... Too bad... it is not your turn... Not yet...

You've taken the words right out of my mouth. I pray next week is our week. Right now, I'm 163 days waiting and I see they started working on May 17th. I'm the 23rd received date so hopefully next week will my turn.

Thanks folks. I even submitted enquiry to my senator this afternoon;what a waste... Couple of hours later i got approval. Don't lose hope. Stay strong. It's not if , but when. All the best to my friends here. I hope i get the hard copy by saturday,before I leave. Now i have to wait 10 days before calling nvc, i guess. Does anyone know, when you go to schedule interview at mumbai embassy, how many days wait time to get one?I.e.can you book an interview one week from that date? I am still hoping to spend new year's with my fiancee here...
