Hello everyone thanks for your contribution and comments so far on my last question, please I have another worry about my petition, being in a 15 months relationship with my American Girl seems not to be an easy thing.. we have already filled and our days are already 162days. Still the meeting requirements is still pending we have never seen each other now she was supposed to come this November 14 2017 but it about her health again she has anemia (iron deficiency) the last time we planned a meeting something fell on her head at work she couldn't come, the only hope is to get a meeting requirement waiver but I'm still stressing on us meeting now she wants me to apply for a visitor's pass to come see her while our petition is in progress please what do you guys think I'm confused what we have at hand now is just 1400$ what can we do fellas!! help????? We are really on a tight Conner

Sorry, I have a question,

how did you file I-129f without the prove you met at least once in the last 2 years?

Also, they will check on your fiancé finances at some point to make sure she can pay for you until you'll be able to work...I'm worry about your status, it seems hard

Hi everyone,

I dont get it. why are the ppl who filed may 16, 2017 but are not from the philippines already received their NOA2? Are they prioritizing other nationalities or something? Just asking

I'm not from Philippines and I'm May 11th, still waiting since 174 days. It's not your nationality, it's just an insane long procedure that doesn't make sense! I see approval or RFE couple or numbers before and after us... but we still untouched!

Filled for the petition with the mindset of getting meeting requirement waiver she already has a new job and that is above the poverty line... Don't you think we can actually get a waiver? Or can we ask for more time to replan a meeting it's already 162days they might contact her any moment from now we're waiting for the no2, for real this things happen to her she got sick even with doctor's report and letter supporting documents showing she got sick in those times we planned meeting

well if that was not a good halloween, i don't know what was :D

could have been a lot better for a lot of us still waiting. November 1st, Day 170 and still waiting. Every day goes by is a day longer but a day closer and a day I can't get back. Knowing we are close now doesn't help with the patience, like a kid on Christmas eve. Full of hope and wishes for something we want so bad. Just hope that it will not be Christmas for our NOA2....

@tpeach - Just like our friend @vml I have a hunch that you guys will get the approval this week. So sit back, relax, do deep breathing exercises, sip a warm coffee and watch Netflix. Noa2 is on it's way.

I'm sorry I can't help you, since I don't think I've ever heard of a meeting requirement waiver. I thought you just can't apply if you don't have what's requested, unless you can prove that for culture or religion it's forbidden for you to meet (or something similar it's written on USCIS site).

I'm just worried they will see the fact like you've never met as a scam, they can think it's very difficult you can be truly in love with a person you've never met. But who knows, they may just want to check on you two better and tell you if you don't meet at least once you can't get it...no idea, I know thinks like you know things. Whish you the best luck! :)

My guess is that they will see this as visa fraud since you have never even met.  I would seriously try to meet ASAP.  At a minimum you will get an RFE asking for proof of meeting.  If you cant supply that they will most likely just hold the petition until it expires.  Proof of meeting is one of the requirements for the visa.  I do not believe they give a waiver unless it is due to religious reasons.

Yes you should have waited until NVC site showed READY which means the embassy has it and you are suppose to pay fee before submitting.

Does that mean I have to do DS-160 over  again? Where do you pay the fee for the DS-160?

The original question was that, I submitted the DS-160 a week before my NOA2 approval! What can I do now? Should I do a new DS-160?
