No, not you, it was the app :lol:. I could not believe it rang at dead center of the weekend, midnight between Saturday and Sunday.

And I bet you there is more ....

Im sorry for your frustrations. My fiance and I planned a courthouse wedding as well because of this uncertainty, We will do the big wedding by next year, that way my family could come. I gave up Christmas too cause there was this applicant who took a print screen of oct-dec interview dates showing nov is already fullybooked, whereas for dec, there are 10-15 as far as i remember.

Keep the faith. All will work out in the end. Keep the fait we can do this by xmas

@The Squirrel @paula and nick You guys inspired me to search my entire apartment to find my daughter's old android phone and download that app 😁😁😁 that sends notifications of close cases status update.

Wish I could attach The Queen's "I'm going slightly mad" to this post 🙃🙂🙃

@Shaman make sure to turn on all the notifications. It's weird receiving midnight status updates but they give hope that somebody's working on them, somehow. Lol! :D

has anyone else noticed that USCIS classified the K-1 visa as "nonimmigrant" but the state department and embassy websites classify it as "immigrant" ???

USCIS:

https://www.uscis.gov/family/family-us-citizens/fiancee-visa/fiancee-visas

State dept:

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/general/all-visa-categories.html

I believe that we are required to fill the ds-160 (for nonimmigrant) rather than the ds-260.

Anyone know why this is the case?

My man called NVC at Friday (17 days after approval ) to ask for our number. The woman he talked to, was very rude and told him that he shouldn't called, he should follow the instruction on approval letter and don't contact them if it wasn't 30 days yet. Also that he actually shouldn't call at all, that he will get the letter. .. Unbelievable!<_<

So he called again after hour and got hold on different person and she was supper sweet and give him our number and congratulates us  ( Btw. it's Ready at the embassy since Thursday ).

Good luck to everyone, be strong !

You have to wait for the Packet 3. Usually they will notify you on the forms that you need to fill up (DS-160 or DS-260) and bring. It is different in each country.

hello. can anyone tell me about case tracker app ? what is that app. how to check cases around ours touched. ,??

you can get the spinach app (most popular) from Itunes store or Android play...however, I have 3 apps apps and find them all useless...the USCIS does not update so the app shows 2 or 3 approvals a day when we see Shoegum's scan show 50 some days. The app does not really work well for much. You can track a number...but if they don't update...nothing happens....like with Murph.

Just received a notification in my app :huh::

May 1st from received to approved, no country

Hootie & the Blowfish lost his mind completely

Image result for hootie blowfish gif

When the Country says USA, it means the fiance is already here on a work permit or education visa, they fall in love, then file for K1 to stay here and get married...must be nice to go through this process with your loved one by your side....they could take their time if that was my case....
