when I applied for Green card 14 years ago, when they did Name check, they got a hit (common south Indian name) and they had to do additional finger print check, which delayed it by a month. Now, I wonder if that will avoid additional delay this time or have to go through the same delay again. Finger crossed...

It is so weird to pass your timeline date on Visa Journey. I have watched it escape me time and time again...Now I have caught it. Good luck to everyone. May 15 filer here. I want NOA2 so badly but also feel bad for the people who have been "passed up." Trying to be positive, but with my luck, me and my princess will be passed up too....I just feel it :(..Actually, a case after ours got RFE, so they must be using my file as a seat cushion or something...HEE HEE....I still have a sick sense of humor...Good luck everyone. I pray 3 times a day for all of us with a little emphasis on my case :) So C'mon God, Jesus, Jehovah, Allah, Buddha, etc......whomever is covering today, grant us the Golden Ticket.

Same here I also feel the same thing because my case also skipped.. It makes me so pessimistic that I don't want to. :(

Same date as you.....keep the faith!!!!! I hope we hear by the end of the month. I do and do not want to go back to the Philippines as I need to see her but would like to save the vacation and $$ for her here...the separation is killing me...No oxytocin in my brain anymore :( Need a refill and she has the cure.

171 days of wait later...

10/27/2017 NOA2 (Notice Date in the hardcopy)

10/30/2017 NOA2 on USCISAPP/E-mail

12/08/2017 - Reached 6 weeks without any notice from NVC. Time to send the NOA2 copy to NVC and figure out what's going on.

12/18/2017 - NVC receives our case and assigns a number

12/21/2017 - Case headed to Spain Embassy in Madrid

01/02/2018 -  Spain Embassy received our 129f packet

01/08/2018 - Packet READY at Embassy - Received Packet 3

05/18/2018 - 4 months waiting to collect all documents... and then, documents sent to the Embassy.

05/30/2018 - Packet 4 received and interview scheduled.

06/13/2018 - Interview at the Embassy // Approved!
06/19/2018 - Visa Received :)
08/10/2018 - POE Chicago

10/16/2018 - Wedding

 

AoS JOURNEY!

01/07/2019 - AoS, EaD and AP package sent

01/11/2019 - NoA1
