I'm tired of waiting.  I should have been an April filer, but it took us a month to do our application...we might have already gotten our visa if we filed when we were supposed to damn it all lol :crying:

10/30/2017 NOA2 on USCISAPP/E-mail

12/08/2017 - Reached 6 weeks without any notice from NVC. Time to send the NOA2 copy to NVC and figure out what's going on.

12/18/2017 - NVC receives our case and assigns a number

12/21/2017 - Case headed to Spain Embassy in Madrid

01/02/2018 -  Spain Embassy received our 129f packet

01/08/2018 - Packet READY at Embassy - Received Packet 3

05/18/2018 - 4 months waiting to collect all documents... and then, documents sent to the Embassy.

05/30/2018 - Packet 4 received and interview scheduled.

06/13/2018 - Interview at the Embassy // Approved!
06/19/2018 - Visa Received :)
08/10/2018 - POE Chicago

10/16/2018 - Wedding

We took the decision almost in march but didn't filed until may. My fiancé isn't good with paperwork and the process stressed him out. Me on the other hand I was ready since march 😂

lol same with me, i was so focused on getting everything right and avoiding RFE's I went over it like million times, filling it out took sometime i would have been towards end of april.

@Shoegum I just spoke with USICS regarding that weird letter and USCIS status update email I received. In short, a tier 2 officer told me that I can completely disregard the address change letter and the "post decision activity" email was sent in error. 

 

Interestingly, he asked me how long I was waiting. I told him I am at 166 days. the then said that if its over 5 months, I can put in a request for "outside of normal processing time," but then told me to hold on while he checked something. He then told me that its showing that USCIS is processing cases on or before April 1st, and that I would have to wait another 41 days before I can put such a request in.  I got the sense that he was not sharp on the current K1 visa situation at USCIS.  

 

I think its complete bs that they used to say we can put the request in at the 5 month mark but decided to change the rules to 6 months and beyond

Wooohooooooo. I gave them my same lie and this time I actually received confirmation that yesterday we were approved and that the noticed should be mailed out in the next couple days. I had to ask him again to make sure. No update on the case tracker 

 

may 8th received

October 24 approved (notice will probably say 25th or 26th)

Check the post above this one @Shoegum guessed it lol. Since I was actually approved, he told me sometimes the system doesn’t update but I should get the letter in the mail next week. Until I get the letter in hands it’s still just a illusion but at least I know it’s coming

The funny thing is, I thought about filing my petition for my Fiancé last jan without telling her. I knew I was going to propose to to her (but hadn't already at that point). I had everything I needed to do it too. The  idea was that she would be approved by the time I proposed and we could just come to the US together over the summer. I hesitated thinking "no... its not right without telling her and without first proposing.. ."  and I obviously ended up not doing it. My fiancé and I had a sad laugh over this a few days ago..   :unsure:

Guys please correct me if I am wrong, our friend @Travie makes it round 10 cases of members being approved or RFE, weather verbal or through mail, but all without being updated online. Do I have this right?
