I am going to the Philippines in early December to visit them.  I will be back home for the holidays with my own kids.  This is not how I wished it would go but it is what we have to deal with.  2018 will be their first white Christmas in Chicago!

Same here. NOA2 on 10/10. I called on Friday and was told to wait, as it could be 6 weeks until they receive it. I'm going to try again this week and see what happens.

Yes you get approval directly at the interview but you have to wait for them to send you back your passport with the k1 inside it

Since then no updates 

I called NVC again this afternoon and they said our case had been forwarded to the consulate today! We have not received the email form NVC yet and our case has not been updated on CEAC but they said we could call the consulate tomorrow to verify they have our case. I hope things change for you soon, I knew the uncertainty is awful.

My case changed to 'ready' today in MTL. Let me know when you get to schedule an interview!!

Hey, I just got the text a little bit ago that we got approved!  WAC1790322181 is our number.

 

Is there another forum I should go to to wait in or is this where the magic happens?
