Guys!! My case requires a RFE, ( after 173 waiting 😓) I am happy/ relief that they touched my case buttt... I am afraid of how long this will take! Do you have some story to share? Or anything... my fiancé is in the military and he starts traveling on April 2018. I really REALLY wanted to be in the US in January. Do you guys think that this is possible?

I'm on the same boat. But I was approved on Oct 9th, I remember your post came after mine, not sure how you get to Oct 6th :))

But I'm trying to call also, and seeing some members got their numbers within a week makes me wonder where my case is at. Good luck to all NOA2s in Oct

I chose the date. Inicially i scheduled it to nov 7, that was the day i planned.. but doctor is in a congress and wont be back until nov 13....... so i had to reschedule it, which sucks and turned into a really big argument between me and fiance... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a question hopefully you guys can help me out. So I'm the petitioner and my fiance and I were discussing having a church ceremony in Mexico once we have the k1 visa, that way we have her family there, after we will cross and get married on the court in united states with my family. Will this affect the visa in any way?

Correct me someone if I am wrong. But as you’re technically married(legally or religiously, doesn’t matter) the k1 visa essentially becomes the wrong visa to enter The United States in. You’re entering to get married. So, I would think it’s better to put it off until you get married first in the US. You can be denied at the POE too even with the visa in hand if they get to know you have had a church wedding because then you’re committing visa fraud.

How many connections? Out of Phoenix, I have to get to Las Angeles then non-stop to Manila on Philippine Airlines.
