Is there a particular medical institution that I must go to have my medical? I live in Ireland, is it not the case of just going to my own GP?

Hi! Check it out on the US embassy website - they give directions and despite the entire procedure in details. Yes, they have a particular medical institution you have to turn to and a fee you have to pay.

How  much it will take  after getting noa2 approval to k1 visa..?

Depends on your embassy but likely 10-20 days from NVC to your embassy.

Then it depends when you can book your medical and when you can get your appointment with your embassy.

check the nvc forum for specific info🙂

Well by that last scan, we can see they are all over Mid-May. However, it looks like if you have not heard anything, that is good as most have been denied (sent back to the USCIS). It seems from the information of the retired adjudicator, the USCIS waits for background checks...some cases are easy, some are not...I have been married previously so that takes time, been in the Army and lived in many different countries...I think ours will take some time to check all of that...Hang in there peeps....we will get there.

Since there is a date listed for about a month from now....I would guess you need to take care of something with your case and have it back to them by that November date....I know peeps that have had an RFE come like that....Not the end of the world as one is usually approved very shortly after they receive what they are requesting. Good luck and keep us updated.

Hello everybody,

Just getting a little frustrated... I got my NOA2 on October 6th and still no NVC case number. I know it is still a little early but I see people approved after me getting it... should I worry?

This is just too much waiting. They have no idea what we go through :( #ranting

Good luck to everybody for your NOA2 and what’s next because apparently, more waiting after that..
