I think this weekend we should all pick a time where we all (no matter where in the world) have a glas of wine and chinchin to the success of @Shoegum and @Naes work and analysis the do for aaaaaall of us

The funniest thing out of this I just put that number I came up with to uscis... and I'm sorry to inform it was rejected due to wrong fee.... sorry for them.

Wow! Do you know why it took USCIS 9 days (-Sundays) to receive the RFE? Did you send Express Mail or regular?

I don't think it took them 9 days to receive the RFE, I think it took 4-5 days in the mail, and than the it probably took some days for the letter to end up on the correct USCIS officers desk. And than it might have taken some more days for that USCIS officer to look at our case again.
We returned the RFE with Express Mail in the provided envelope. So our RFE process should have goon as quickly as it possibly could.

"When you call NVC right this info down

After the guy starts the pre-recorded message press 1, when he starts talk again press 7, and 5 with a pause each time to let him talk

otherwise you have to listen to his whole speech which is time consuming phone tree.

then you will be put on hold for zero to 30 minutes or more

Call 8am or 3-5 pm or 9-10pm EST  for shortest waits"

Thank you :)

Congratulations!!!!  :)   You can start trying to call the NVC anytime but it might take a few days for them to get your case from USCIS.  :)

Thank you :)

About a week. May i ask what rfe was for?

We had missed one checkbox one the I-129f form. Even though we checked everything soooooo many times. But at least it was an easy fix.

I think tier 2 has more information access or visibility. Though the first tier 2 I spoke with hung up on me after I asked him how come there is no update on the case and if he can get me to someone who would... When I spoke with a tier 2 today she told me there was a RFE  being generated but is not mailed out yet, should be receiving in the coming week(s).. I'm kinda salty

Its about how many days before u called them?.. Does it mean,  we can know about our case... Either approved or RFE.... they could tell us or not.??  Or  would they tell that after some days  we will get something from them.??? Have u got ur RFE yet.??

The only question worth asking at the interview at the embassy is "how did you guys survive waiting for the petition to get approved?"

I travelled 3 times to the US, he came to visit us 2 times starting October last year, and still that's not enough. 😔

Do they realize it there in the uscis how much they contribute to the stress and how much it physically hurts to wait so long. Guess they just couldn't care less.

thanks God there are forums like this where we can share information and see the process isn't just stuck.

Please, update your profiles as you receive your approvals - it is son inspiring to see the number of approvals grow! 😃

Good luck to those still waiting ✌️✌️✌️

Our noa2 was 10/10. Well that’s when we got notified. But the hard copy says 10/9.

Keep calling. It’ll be there soon. So close now. Good luck:)

Well we got notified on 10/10 like you but the hard copy says 10/6... so hopefully they have it today!!!

Another question: how did you get your case number etc? They emailed it to you?

My fiancé started calling on 10/17 and on 10/18 the case was received at NVC. 10/19 he called again and we received the case number and an invoice number.

I don't know if we are supposed to receive an email or anything by mail from the NVC. Right now I’m just gonna track it on CEAC and see when it gets to the embassy and then schedule my interview:)
