Just downloaded the app!! How do you search it? In the app?

Yay! Yes, just click on search and then enter your WAC number and maybe a search parameter of 500.  Or sometimes I like to go 250 cases before mine and search 500, so I get cases before and after mine to see what is being processed.  Be careful not to search too many in one night or you will get locked out for 24-48 hours.

Opinion's please.  We are 2 May, 169 days.   I told our lawyer we were getting concerned because we are seeing packages after ours being approved; his response was "steady as she goes".  Well that was of no comfort.  So I sent in a request to our State Senator for assistance, she has that option on her website, immigration assistance.  They called me today with no guarantee, but that they would check on it.  Well now I fear if our lawyer is notified of this he may get mad and drop us, I don't know, just paranoid about it.  I've seen others take this approach and we are so stressed I figured why not.  Should I worry about our lawyer if he is notified about it or am I overthinking it? :o  Thank you!

IMO i wouldn't care if the lawyer gets notified or not, it is your case you are free to do anything even inquire on your case. Plus I think at 169 Days it should be the Lawyers job to do inquiry for you as you must have paid him for his services.

Hey everyone! I called USCIS a couple of days ago since I've been watching Shoegum posting all these scans and stuff and not seeing my case number posted (with a specific result as if it had been finally approved or something). I spoke with a tier 2 officer and I noticed he started asking me questions that I had not been asked before, like the name of person who I was applying for, DOB and etc (he usually would ask my address and case number). After all that, he finally told me my case had been approved last Wednesday - Oct 11th and that their website has not been updated...

I'm expecting to receive a letter this week or the next.. I'm relieved that I finally got good news in this process.. the fact is that it is very hard just to rely on what their case tracker says (Btw, I had my phone number in their system to notify me when my case was approved..).

Congratulations!

I'm so sorry for the additional 1 week suffering

and seriously i want to go work for uscis when all these stop. To teach them some technology maybe?!?

The official one is received that which will show on the website or on the receipt as the day your case started counting.

some people here uses their receipt date, I don't so I cannot comment on that. But to not torture yourself use the later one so you'll feel better.. as it will show less days in between

Its a long list, may not be loading on the device you are using is it a phone/ipad or pc?  maybe try a different browser, or you can download the excel file and open it on your PC.
