A POUND?! Express mail uses a box right? I cannot fathom an envelope unless they asked you for a lot of evidence.

Haha it was an envelope. What I sent was little excessive because I wanted to ensure they got exactly what they wanted.  It was about 164 pages of additional evidence.

No problem, I try to do the received dates only for the last scan of the day as adding the dates takes bit of time.

I will if i get time to do it during day time If need to check received dates, can always check one of the past scans linked in my signature :)

:wow: Was the RFE clear about what the USCIS needed, or did you have to "interpret" which led you to send more evidence?

I felt it was a bit open to interpretation. They gave me a list of about seven different things I could provide (about half of which I provided with my original application), so I just sent them every piece of evidence I could find.

I already suggested a Paypal account so that we can buy him drinks to cope with the anxiety we cause him.

Congrats! Are you going be there with your fiance for the interview? We're very close

Yeah I'm planning to be there. It seems like with our embassy it helps to have the US citizen present. Are you planning to go? If you need help or anything just give me a personal message on here

That's what I thought. I don't think the system is sophisticated enough to tell you exactly what is needed. So, to expedite the process, the CO just pick a request out of a list that is closest to what is needed.

What happens if you try to call USCIS and tell them that there are cases in front of you getting approved and are not expedited?
If they ask how you found out just tell them that you have a group of buddies in forums who share case numbers and info, and others are getting approved in front of you, give them a sample case number
Do you think USCIS will entertain you or give you the call back in a month or 2 thing again?

Congrats first of all!!  When you say service request, what is that?  When I called the other day they asked if I had a service request in and I said as far as I know, no.  I had called one time previous, is probably why he asked me that, I don't know.

a service request is when you ask USCIS to look into something regarding you case.. if you do it by phone the officer should give you a reference number and then USCIS sends you a letter or an email answering your question.. you can also do it online using the online tools I believe.

Live, love, laugh.. and try not to think too much about USCIS

the received date is showing in the previous post so I'm not sure what you are referring to you.

and I do use the app daily, however, I was asking when he prepares the scan on his spreadsheet if he can continue to include this column. I'm fully aware and knowledgeable on how to use the USCIS tracker app.

my bad - in this case, @Shoegum actually has the link to the files in each post or his profile, so there you can actually see more info and get a better picture of the timeline (missing emoji with the thumbs up)

N-400: 12/05/2023 (confirmed fingerprints are re-used)

I don't think so. For me it took three days from email notice to the get the hardcopy in the mail. It may be beneficial to look through your original application and identify what the RFE could possibly be for. I did this so I actually had everything prepared and sent the RFE off the same day. It was received by USCIS the following day. In total, the RFE delayed me by 15 days (I got the email notice September 25th and received NOA2 October 10th). I hope it is an easy fix! Let me know if you have any questions!

Ok, it took three days to get the RFE hardcopy. Did you count the day your received the email or started the count the next day? I'm trying to plan because, if Friday, good. If Saturday, I will have to reschedule my plans.
