Hm, now I'm worried. :D I just sent a photocopy of the visa entry and exit stamps and a couple pics of us together.

Honestly, RFEs for this requirement are pretty random from what I have read.

Originally I sent about 10 photos, my residency card from Kenya (I studied abroad there for 6 months), flight confirmations and boarding passes, a 1/2 page summary describing how we met and the dates we were together in person, and scans of my passport stamps. I think what they really wanted was the biodata page of my passport to somehow "prove" that the stamps were mine though. The RFE reads "The evidence submitted is not sufficient because the passport pages with visa entry and exit stamps do not have the biographical page of the passport holder" then it proceeded to give this list of about 7 things I could send them to meet the requirement. So I sent all seven of those things plus more :)

Don't worry about it too much! I know people are approved with even less than what you provided!

Yes! I finally got my NOA2 in the mail yesterday! Dated 10/10/17 so the RFE didn't back me up too badly!

Tracker never updated though!

Yay! Congrats! ❤️

Tracker shows my case is still received either 😁

They wanted additional evidence to meet the requirement that we had met once over the last two years. Kind of funny since we have spent 8 months together in person since August 2016. I thought what I sent originally was sufficient so I sent them every single thing I could think of.

So you sent hotel recepits, pics, boarding passes, pics of you all together, passport stamps, and still was not enough?

I listed what I sent originally in this post. Like I said I feel it is pretty dependent on whoever is looking at your case. I think the real issue for me was the biodata page.

Congrats! Do your DS-160 here: https://ceac.state.gov/GenNIV/Default.aspx

Hi, your signature timeline doesn't show an NOA 2 date but I saw that your VJ timeline has 10/2.

So you have not called YET?

We had ours NVC number in 12 days so you are at day 15 or so. I would call NOW.

Yes we made the deposit already and you Don't need the NVC number to make the deposit.

They gave us a receipt with number on it after she made payment at BPI.

Steven
