Hi all, I'm may 10th filer here, planning on getting organized while waiting for the NOA2...What documents do I need to get my fiancee before her interview? And what forms can I fill out while we wait for this infamous NOA2? Thanks in advance!

May 10th here too, you need to send your fiancee I 134, the I 797 NOA2 notice, and she needs different forms depending on her consulate. Common forms are police records, baptism certificates, 6 passport size photos of both of you, her birth certificate, her passport, and any evidence of an ongoing relationship since you two first filed such as call logs, texting transcripts, or photos from when you visited along with the boarding passes to travel there

Long distance is tough, this process is just as tough and stressful. A long distance relationship has to have trust in order to survive the process of waiting and being separated. We have to respect each other's cultures and ideals. We have to accept each other's personalities and what makes them who they are before we get engaged or get married. Never should one go into any relationship thinking he or she will be changing the other. We all have had our battles and I am no different. I know what I like, what I want and what I am willing to accept. Have you told your fiance how much it bothers you? If you have and it continues it would be a huge red flag to me. Your emotions and thoughts should matter. Jealous or not communication is king....

Does I-134 have to be an original signature or can it be signed, scanned, and e-mailed to beneficiary for printing?

As time goes by the estimate for approval changes for each person. Mine changed so many times during the process because approvals went from 90 days up to 160 days or so.

Our NOA 2 took exactly 5 months. The estimate times are based upon the amount of time it took for prior approvals of VJ members.

I can't tell you if the last estimate was accurate as i stopped looking at the estimate after about 4 months of waiting.

maybe it wasn't updated in the system yet. i assume it should most likely be updated by end of the day

My wac is 327977.  from Shoegums scans, we are roughly 912 applications away from where USCIS is processing today. at an average of 25 approvals per day, thats puts us at another 36 days...

 

But if USCIS starts spitting out 135 approvals per day like last tuesday, that would put us within range in just 6 days. 

 

 this wait is brutal.

Day 168. My fiancé did the same thing. We are both on edge watching all the cases around us get touched. I contacted the USCIS ombudsman and will let you know what results I get. I wish you guys good luck this week @Julie and Kerren.
