We finally got our hard copy NOA2 in the mail today!! The notice date says 10/9. We were notified by text on 10/10. So I’m guessing they actually worked on Columbus Day and updated online the next day. Which is why it rained approvals last Tuesday.

Good luck to all those waiting. Your NOA2s are just around the corner :)

Hey guys.....

I know I'm thinking way ahead,  especially since I don't even have my NVC case number yet..... but I was wondering if we schedule our own appts for fingerprinting and interview. My brother in law who came here in 2016 said the NVC told him which date he'd have interview.  I was under impression that we were able to schedule the appts ourselves.

He came here in a spouse visa. I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The process is different. At least here in Brazil you don't get to schedule the interview for spousal visas, they do it for you.

now the fiance visa is different.. you get to schedule it

I was looking at the remaining May 5th WAC #'s from Shoegum's scan and noticed that 95 out of 97 end with 0###. I wonder if that's just coincidence or if certain numbers are chosen per month so that no "month" is left unprocessed out of fairness? It's not like they are finishing a "date" then moving on to the next date. There are still 5/1, 5/2, 5/3, and 5/4/17 awaiting NOA2's also. I haven't checked but there are probably "Your Current Status: Case Was Received" from 1/1/17 still awaiting NOA2.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'm hoping this week is it. Especially when you see case numbers after you getting approved and yours seems to have been skipped or forgotten. I'm already losing sleep

It's difficult to work out the order of things with them, we are waiting on them still, we've got no other choice for now but to wait and hope we get appropriated soon enough now

Don't fret my friend, it will be soon, I bet we'll all be together by Christmas.

It seems like Mondays have a ton of approvals, Tuesdays have a lot, a few rfes, then Wednesday through Fridays have a ton of rfes and a few approvals. Fingers crossed they update your case on a Monday! Lol
