Yes, it's on page 31 on this thread too. :)

Their case is expedited, they're a May 15th filer and NOA2 date of May 22. Her fiance is in the military, that's why.

But since they're touching May cases, we can expect a miracle now! Yay!

I think the person that was approved on 6/22/2017 is the same person. It's quite possible her NOA1 notice date was May 9th, but she received the hardcopy on May 15th. There are no other approvals on the spreadsheet and that is the only one with the same NOA2 approval date.

But either way, it's definitely a great sign if we have 4 filers who have are getting RFE's. We'll see how the next weeks starts to shape out.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

Yes looks like it, i just actually went and checked the post. Their approval letter had date of 6/22 which is same date of this approval. We can probably check with that person if their case number was WAC1790324097.

However, May 1st and May 8th got RFE so that is a good sign :D

Howdy all,

Filled for me and my husband from Australia and NOA1 notification happened on May 25. I found these forums and I am very relieved to find out I am waiting like everyone else. Something about knowing it's in process and waiting is okay.

HI everyone. I am May 2017 filer as well. Me and my fiance are still waiting on our approval like all of you. I wanted to ask you how your weeding planning is going? What part you have it done and for what you think you may wait for later? We are planning our weeding for the biggining of January :))

Yeaaah, let's talk wedding 🎉🎉 We would like to rent a barn or something rustic that we can decorate and make cozy. It would probably be max. 100 guests. As we are still waiting for the NAO2 hopefully the wedding might take place between November and January, which is the worste period for me as I hate being cold 😂 We don't even know if we will get married in OKlahoma (where my fiancé is from) or Oregon (where we going to live). What about you??

We've only been talking about it for 3 years now, so we're rather prepared haha. My preference is outdoors, and my employers have offered their beautiful home with large yard and formal English Garden for our ceremony and reception.

We are looking at 2 dates in October (if miracles happen with this process), and 2 in November. If none of those are doable, then we'll likely wait until our dating anniversary in April of next year if we still want it outdoors.

Our secondary option is an indoor facility in the winter. If we hadn't been offered a private venue for very cheap, we'd have found a venue that will allow for both indoors and out, and just picked a date far enough in the future to work well for us.

It helps that I've worked in the wedding industry in the past, so I know what can be done in advance. For instance, I've already got a cake maker and "design" (she can have cakes ready on 72 hours notice), minister (old friend who is a pastor, will work with our schedule), bridal party including outfits (gorgeous Melansay chiffon skirts from Amazon for the girls; khakis, white shirts, and suspenders for the guys), and have talked to an amazing photographer who is going above and beyond for us. As soon as we know a date, we'll consult all of our vendors in order of most important to least to confirm our date. For me, the photographer I want is a non-negotiable even if we have to do a weekday wedding (not likely, but an option), as is the officiant. All other items, I can take or leave, and it will still have just as much meaning. I've got the groom and the dress, all I really need is the ceremony and photographic proof of it all haha

I've also DIYed a few things, downloaded songs for playlists for the reception, and talked to several rental companies in the area about reserving chairs, tables, and any decor we don't want to DIY (which isn't much...).

BTW our budget is $5000 US, so it's definitely doable. We're still researching food options but have someone in mind, a small catering business that preps simple but delicious food and in a buffet style.

The hardest part thus far has been deciding what to do/where to go for our honeymoon! It can't be too far away, not too expensive, but still fun and memorable.

And after all the paperwork is filed from our official US marriage, and we can afford afford it, we want to fly back to Australia to celebrate with his family. Only 4 of them will be able to attend our American ceremony due to age and the health restrictions of such a long flight.

Im thinking January 5th!! no big wedding or anything since none of our families or friends are located where we will be living and flying during that time of the year is very expensive.. and like  nexiou said we will probably be buried in snow by then..  I am more excited about just being together than the wedding ceremony itself..

We are more worried about the honeymoon than the wedding. It doesn't seem fair to not have friends up from Australia. So we'll keep it civil and then head out into the wilderness to a hot spring resort for a week. I figure friend can come and celebrate our 5 or 10 year anniversary. ^_^

We're planning to get married on December 30th or 31st. I'm actually going to tour 2 venues and have an appointment for my wedding dress fitting this Saturday. My mom, best friend and son are coming with me. Because New Year's falls on a Monday, I think it will be cool to break in New Year's the night of our wedding or to the very least if we have it on the 30th, it still gives my guest time to themselves to enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend. Plus, January 1st starts my vacation time over so we'll probably go to Florida or Las Vegas for a week for like a "honeymoon" (and I always take off the first week of January because of my birthday).

I plan on sending out the "save the dates" once the NOA2 comes in the mail, and I will have the invitations ready to go out in the mail right after we get the approval for the interview. I'm inviting between 75-100 people tops. I will probably put the deposit down with the venue after the NOA2 because at least if we have to move our date, the deposit secures our contract with the venue plus its non-refundable. Once we get the approval, we will pay off the venue.

This will be a DIY wedding; gonna keep it simple but beautiful. But right now, I'm doing the little, tidiest things first because after the NOA2, I know things will move much faster.

We're planning to get married in March.  Since we are May filers, the earliest we could hope this process will be done is the end of October.  Since my fiancé has a daughter and her birthday is in November, we agreed that he would spend her birthday and Christmas with her since we don't know when he will be able to travel home again (we are also hoping she will join us within a year on a K2).  Although we want this process to be over a soon as possible, we are not planning for him to come to the U.S. until January, so we will get married in March.

This gives me a little breathing room, but I have some venues in mind and know that there will be about 150 guests.  I won't start planning, i.e., pay for the venue, send out invitations, get a wedding dress, until after his interview date is set.  So, at this point, no concrete planning, but lots of ideas that will need to be executed quickly at some point.
