I looked at my timeline and the estimated NOA2 date just went down for a week. Ugh! haha

No, it was estimated to be adjudicated between Aug. 5th to 10th, now it says a week later. 😬

My fiancé submitted the papers on April 27th, May 1st NOA 1.

Mine too... It was like Aug 30-Sept 6. Now its like Aug 24-Aug 30. Hopefully it moves even faster

Yours got advanced for a week and mine got a week later than the first estimated dates. Lucky!

Mine is fluctuating all the time. Now it says I'll receive it from 23rd August to 29th August, and yesterday it said the 1st of September, so...Be relaxed !:)

12/08/2017 - Reached 6 weeks without any notice from NVC. Time to send the NOA2 copy to NVC and figure out what's going on.

12/18/2017 - NVC receives our case and assigns a number

12/21/2017 - Case headed to Spain Embassy in Madrid

01/02/2018 -  Spain Embassy received our 129f packet

01/08/2018 - Packet READY at Embassy - Received Packet 3

05/18/2018 - 4 months waiting to collect all documents... and then, documents sent to the Embassy.

05/30/2018 - Packet 4 received and interview scheduled.

06/13/2018 - Interview at the Embassy // Approved!
06/19/2018 - Visa Received :)
08/10/2018 - POE Chicago

Really I never paid any attention or noticed that it moved until @smilei mentioned it. Good to know, I just never paid it much attention

The dates will move very often. It is all based on VJ members updating their timelines accurately with the appropriate dates for their case. If there's a lot of people updating it, then it will change the dates to give it a more accurate estimate timeline; but if members are not updating it, that's when the date goes further away.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

I have a question,

So my fiance is coming to visit July 15th to the 24th. We were worried we may get an rfe due to only meeting once, but we figured since he's coming to visit again before the approval, it could help our case when he has his interview, or if we do receive an rfe. Is there a way to send in extra evidence a few months into the process that will help your case or should we just wait it out and see what happens?

 

Also, have you guys ever thought about just getting married while visiting before the approval? That way it's already done, you don't have to get married in those three months after the approval and you can focus on permanent residency instead. Would that help your case or mess up the fiance visa? 

 

It's just something he and I thought about and figured it'd be helpful to ask you all
