This is so discouraging. I will wake up my princess in the Philippines in 20 minutes as I do everyday. She will be so disappointed after the excitement of yesterday. We are trying to avoid me going back to the Philippines to save vacation time for when she gets here. If we don't get NOA2 by November 1, I head east on a 15.5 hour airbus ride :(. Actually, that is the flight time...total travel time is 26 hours. Here comes my internet scream again...AHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGG!!!!! Okay, let's keep the faith and hope for the best.

I totally understand. When I left Mumbai last month (and my partner :( ), I fully planned on next seeing him here in the US. Today feels discouraging, but hopefully it's just a blip in an overall turnaround in productivity. My hopes are still high for October!

I say by the end of Oct most of mid May filers will be done. Then the rest of may by end of Nov. It seems like its taking a week to do 3 to 4 days

I was able to talk to a "tier 2" officer... he was worse than a tier 1... he said this type of visa can take up to one year "but we are trying our best to keep it at 6-8 months" if u haven't received an RFE it means ur case is OK. U r still in regular processing times so keep waiting... very sad and disappointed today.... May 5th here 159 days waiting...

Hello guys! On day 156 here :( But feeling like next week will be the week! Where is the best place to check if your case has been approved? I try to check my case status several times a day on the uscis page.

I suggest check @Shoegum scans as it has been more accurate and timely than USCIS site and apps. He posts them every evening after USCIS closes for the day.

Oh wow that's frustrating, they have that one job, I understand they can have many cases but still..and they are giving info on how they want that day it seems, if on official page it says 3-5 most 6 months for k1 visa, they are now making up time frames just cause they are slow..seriously..

Welcome to the VJ family, plenty of good folks here to help you. Seems like the wait time between Noa1 and Noa 2 is roughly between 160-170 days. From what I have been seeing they are approving early May filers I have seen a May 6 filer been approved. I am May 14  so it been 150 days, hoping to hear in the next week or so. Keep the faith and good things will come.

Thank you, I am May 22nd(143 days) hoping by the end of Oct to get noa2 but the way things are I doubt it(I just hope I don't get an RFE) if I knew it would be an approval it would be easier to wait, but like this...rfe would mess up all our plans

I rarely post but I'm 5/5 also so I understand. We are too close so I would not even bother calling because you will only get "answer #3" of the "when they call use this" list. Don't put yourself through that. I actually use the time to plan on how I will celebrate when it do happen. I cannot control what's happening at USCIS but I can control how I respond to it.
