I am May 5th NOA1 and still haven't heard...just FYI so we can all gauge things...

We are May 2nd, hard to gauge, since other packages with different dates are being approved.  ;)

I am planning to visit my fiance in November and hoping to get approval before I leave. I am worried what to do if I get rfe, while I am away. I am from India, and I hope spending time with my fiance will help her chances in the interview rather than hurt her... Any thoughts?

Have you been to visit her yet or are you hoping to be there for the interview?

Visited once before. This is the second time. If the interview happens to be at the time, I am there, then I might go with her. I am also working for few days in between  at my office in India...

I may be there for her interview, providing we are approved with the schedule we think we will have.  My 2nd time there and she's been to see me 5x.  If I'm there for the interview, I will not go in with her, she laughed and said she'd be more nervous.  She's done it twice before, interview's, for the Tourist visa, so I think she will do good on that, fingers crossed.  I would like to see inside the American Embassy though, that would be nice, but it's whatever she wants, if I happen to be there. Hope it all works out well!
