I dont like it either, to much personnal info

Wish we could send it to the embassy, direct

Because I like to play devil's advocate, if the embassy was to allow something like that, you don't think the embassy would see that as a red flag that you don't trust sending and sharing your personal information with a person that you have chosen to spend the rest of your life with?

I believe it would but that's just my opinion.

Just my 2 cents worth, but i have no problem with my fiance getting my info, what the unknown is, how it gets there

When i was in the Philippines, i never saw a fedx or ups trk driving around and they dont have a usps

So scan the documents and email it to your fiance. That solves the lack of trusted courier services.

But if you are mailing the information to your fiance do you not trust that she will keep it safe and out of the hands of others?

If you don't want to mail it, scan your documents and email it as an attack so she can print them out.

I'm a little confused on what you're thinking is gonna happen with your information if you are entrusting it to the person you are choosing to spend the rest of your life with.

It's not my fiancee I'm worried about, its others. E-mailing it is bad too since people can hack into her computer or phone. She said she's been hacked a few times already ...smh. Also, my fiancee doesn't have a printer at her house, so she is going to either print it out from somewhere in the outside or her dad is going to print it out - neither of which I want. lmao i don't even know which is worse in this situation, e-mail or snail mail. That's really a stupid, pea brain move of immigration. It should be US to US, always. The US embassy/consulate should take that info directly from the US citizen over an encrypted connection or at least take it through the US Postal Service like they did the I-129F

Use DHL. It never leaves their hands from when you send it to when she would receive it. Not sure of cost, but it's probably close to or under $100 and it wil be secure.

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

My fiancé is in the Philippines and I use Fed Ex to send her stuff...We have it sent to the Fed Ex office where she can pick up or to the Mall of Asia which has a company to receive mail...none of my cards or letters made it to her using "regular" mail...but at least in Manila, there is fed Ex, DHL, etc....she says they are very nice there and helpful...she also sends me stuff via Fed Ex...

I understand your concern. If you feel that strongly about it fly there to the interview and being your documents with you so you know no one has access to it.

Thats not my point at all

My fiance knows how much i make

Ive never seen a fedx or ups or dhl driving around delivering

I must say i have no idea how any package gets delivered in the Philippines, but the last time i sent a box, it was opened, gone thru, and my fiance was never given a notice she had a package

She went on her own to see if it ever showed up

So, sending it to my fiance isnt a problem, its how it gets to her

The Philippines does not have a United States Postal service

It cost me about 42 dollars to send 3 or 4 pieces of paper...but it gets there to her...piece of mind is worth the money.

Oh that's not too bad at all for piece of mind. I plan on being there for the interview, but nice to know in case I need to send something ahead of time.
