I fear we'll get an RFE for that as well, because I forgot to include the biographical information page of my passport.

You should be fine with all of that! That's a lot of extra documentation!

Do we all need to include biographical information page of passports?? I didn’t do it, because my fiancée is an active duty military and was in Japan and we were in a relationship. I put bunch of pictures we took in our 1 year and half relationship in Japan. I also printed daily txt messages screenshots talking about what we eat for dinner, what we do on weekend and stuff.... Hope we don’t get RFE! Lol Now I’m scared! Are my proofs not enough!? Lol

Hello all! I am one of those weirdos whose case is kinda in-between months (received date: April 28th, NOA1: May 2nd). But I've been hanging out in the April forum so I could see happy news getting closer. Anyway, I've been meaning to hop over here to say that we got our NOA2 notification on Monday! 150 days from received date. Hope is in the air! I'm so excited that they're progressing on cases and hopefully they'll be working their way all through May quickly! Hang in there everybody, I was so hopeless waiting, there were times I felt it would never happen and it was all just a dream. But approval is really coming! We'll all be with our loves soon!

Congratulations!!!!

K+D have received an RFE for it. I've been following the March thread for a while too and saw some RFEs related to it as well. I included all my boarding passes and passport stamps of my trips, but did not copy the bio page or the rest of my passport, as I don't remember that being asked for specifically - although a copy of the bio page makes sense.

We'll see. I hope not. As bcoakley06 mentioned - it probably depends on the officer reviewing our case.

Thanks for replying back! I wish I had a boarding pass I could turn in. Because our relationship wasn’t long-distance, I do not have anything to turn in other than pics and texts showing we “met” in two years. He left Japan in April and I visited him in the states in July but it was after we submitted I-129F :P We had to put our residential history on G-325A, so I am hoping USCIS officer finds that my fiancée was stationed in Japan for his duty and we actually lived in the same city! Lol

There are two dates that USCIS cares about:

1.) The "received" date which is listed on the NOA 1 - the date which the petition was received by USCIS Lock Box.

2.) The NOA 1 "Notice" date which is also listed on the NOA 1 and the notice date is obviously always after the received date.

The USCIS does not care when you mailed your I-129F

There is no indication on the NOA1 or on any USCIS website as far as when you Mailed your I-129F.

I mailed my I-129F on April 26th.  My "Received" date listed on my NOA 1 was May 1st.  My Notice date is May 3rd.

My case is considered "FILED" on May 1st Not April 26th. It was just "mailed" on April 26th.

Therefore I am a MAY filer per USCIS received date.  But feel free to assume that YOU are correct.

I understand that VJ timelines are listed using the Notice date this is why I'm suggesting in my other post that VJ Admins consider having people input their received date  which USCIS goes by to cut back on the confusion.

In your example a filer with an NOA 1 notice date of May 10th would 100% be a May case.

USCIS doesn't take 10 days to generate notice dates. It may take them longer then that to actually mail them out but that is another story.

May received dates are ALREADY being approved.

Here is one example https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do

Received May 1 and approved Sept 25th.

Take Care!

My example of someone receiving an I-797c with a NOA1 date of May 10th is not validating that the individual is a May filer. That only gives the hypothetical example that someone with a receive date of April 30th could easily be an April 30th filer with a NOA1 date of May 11th or May 1st or May 3rd.

But you can assume anything your heart desires.

I personally don't care your notice date or your received date. You are in a site which provides a platform and tools for individuals going through the USCIS for several case reasons including I-129F cases who come to the site truly for a single purpose.

Which is and will continue to be to gain an approximate date on their own case status and to find help and guidance from those who have been through the process and succeeded.

You sir are not an expert nor are you qualified to give advice other than your personal opinion, as you have not successfully come out the other side of the process with enough experience to help guide others on a successful path.

You can provide all the links that are easily and readily accessible to anyone with the desire to research such topics and or qualified information.

I have stated and I stand by my statement that May case files have yet to process with a few exceptions. These exceptions do no mean that May case files are being processed ahead of the proven April case files pertaining to I-129F displayed multiple times by other VJ members via screenshots April 27th, April 28th (fill iin the country of choice).

As far as you own personal case filing. You boarder May as a filer though this does not constitute that your case will be proven as "Approved" until that time comes.

If your want to troll that some poor couple who filed in March 2017 with an NOA! date of April 2017 but hasn't received their NOA2 until May 2017 gives them the grounds to be considered as a April filer. Then super duper to you for your reasoning.

I don't come into VJ forums pretending to be the advisor to the masses. An nor would I want to be such the person because I would not want to be the person to have provided some innocent couple honestly looking for such direction, a delay in fulfilling their dreams of being together, being the cause of them receiving an RFE or an out right denial at the consulate level.

So I will continue to await May case files to actually start processing. Not April cases with NOA2's which happen to boarder May constituting them as May Approved cases (as VJ give the option as a defaults).

And you sir can Troll someone else and continue to kick rocks down the street.

Oh and good luck on your K1 process. I hope you get out of my line soon.

Cheers!

this was the only writing on the paper

From the looks of the paperwork she received she has passed and doesn't need to go back till she has her passport with her visa inside. This is the first time I have ever seen that document or heard of someone receiving such. I am not sure why. Bust since she has something in writing I think there are no problems with CFO.

When she returns to get her stamp from CFO be sure she brings her passport and their is going to be a "data" sheet inside her package. She needs to make a copy to give to CFO. Be sure to tell her not to open the brown envelope that will come with her visa/passport which will state on the outside "do not open".

You can rest knowing that CFO is fine.

We didn’t sent my biographical information page of passport either. I really hope not we get RFE,  I am worried about my simple mistake too.

I saw your timeline, we are almost same and same embassy in Japan! Hope everything goes smoothly... and get NoA2 soonest!!
