It does, thank you! I can't check right now because I'm at work but if I remember correctly I was literally about $400 under the line. And I currently have like $7,600 in savings and the number is growing. My fiance said he can transfer his money to me if I for some reason don't meet the line with what I have. Do you know which vaccines are required to become a permanent resident? And once he gets these vaccines, he should just keep a record of them for the permanent resident application?

I think this is the right list of vaccinations needed for the AOS https://www.uscis.gov/news/questions-and-answers/vaccination-requirements

Here in the UK you can request a copy of your Patient Summary from your doctor which lists all vaccinations since birth - based on my records seems I have been jabbed more times than I remember lol! Some of the vaccinations on the list in the link, your fiance will already have for sure but well worth checking out from his patient summary any that's missing to get them done ahead of time. Totally agree with @JrJonesy4 the medical at Knightsbridge will certainly inflate all their prices so best to get any done ahead of time :)

Thank you! One more question, the ds-160 form is saying he needs an endorser? What does this mean?

Lol that is a good question I have no clue as the forms changed since I last completed one..... What section is it under?

Day 150 from received date for us today... so I called USCIS first thing this morning.  The Tier 1 person was very nice and I played dumb ("is there anyone that I can possibly speak to that might have that information?") which got me instantly transferred to the Tier 2 area; I left my phone number on the automated Tier 2 line and was called back about 20 minutes later.  The best way that I can describe the Tier 2 person who called me back is completely devoid of personality... sigh.  Basically, I received the same lines that everyone is hearing:  nothing written on my case except that it was received; they're working on March 1st; due to the workload, it could be another 2 months but there are no guarantees, etc.  I'm not in a good place today, like most of us who are stressed out by this waiting process but there's nothing that I can do but wait more... and more... :(

Ughhh the endless waiting and the void of more nothingness and the standard response of helpfully unhelpful dates - I hear you!

I was sad to read you are feeling down, you are always the up person when I read the threads, but totally get some days and certainly better than others. I don't think anyone really gets this process, or truly understands the rollercoaster of emotions and the strain it has, if they haven't been through it.

So my friend, I just wanted to say - I get it. It is brutal. But tomorrow is a new day, in a few days a new week and just maybe (hope you liked my May pun by the way - I know it's sad, it's the NOA2 wait, it's affected my brain) - some good news will start coming! And perhaps whoever you spoke to is just angry it's only Thursday and not Friday. I hope for all our sakes they go large this weekend and get some beers down them, ready for super speed processing next week. :D

100% this week for me has flown by, there have been weeks it's been like dagging my b#*l sack across sand paper. However the trick is to keep busy, throw everything into work, do anything to take your mind off the day n before you know it it's over. When your thinking about it it drags 😔 the worst day for me n id never thought id say this is weekends I say again I never thought I would 'Roll on Monday' back to a working week. God only knows why Cali service Centre rarely work Saturdays

I looked into it. It's basically someone who has a nice job that can confirm the person is who they say they are in the passport photo. They ask for the person's email address in case they want to email them

It's kind of silly... Doesn't really make sense. Can't be a family member.

Having  Noa1 date received in May with a case received at USCIS in April makes you an April filer by USCIS. Not a May filer and not by an individuals assumption.

Such as why April 26, 27, Even April 29th  cases are being approved.

With your logic. Because a person has  Noa1 date of May 10. That makes them a May Filer. Which is not factual.

It may mean the US post office in their area of residence is slow to deliver mail or that it so happened that USCIS printed their I-797c in May.

But feel free to presume you are correct and all April 27, 28, 29, and 30 case received dates are May approvals.

Each worked case just allows another case to be opened and processed just as the one prior and the one before.

I'll wait for a May 1st USCIS case to process. So I know May is being processed finally.

Un-expedited.

Cheers!

There are two dates that USCIS cares about:

1.) The "received" date which is listed on the NOA 1 - the date which the petition was received by USCIS Lock Box.

2.) The NOA 1 "Notice" date which is also listed on the NOA 1 and the notice date is obviously always after the received date.

The USCIS does not care when you mailed your I-129F

There is no indication on the NOA1 or on any USCIS website as far as when you Mailed your I-129F.

I mailed my I-129F on April 26th.  My "Received" date listed on my NOA 1 was May 1st.  My Notice date is May 3rd.

My case is considered "FILED" on May 1st Not April 26th. It was just "mailed" on April 26th.

Therefore I am a MAY filer per USCIS received date.  But feel free to assume that YOU are correct.

I understand that VJ timelines are listed using the Notice date this is why I'm suggesting in my other post that VJ Admins consider having people input their received date  which USCIS goes by to cut back on the confusion.

In your example a filer with an NOA 1 notice date of May 10th would 100% be a May case.

USCIS doesn't take 10 days to generate notice dates. It may take them longer then that to actually mail them out but that is another story.

May received dates are ALREADY being approved.

Here is one example https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do

Received May 1 and approved Sept 25th.

Take Care!

I had no idea about mine to be honest, but just stopped by my doctors and explained I needed a print out of my record and they just gave it to me at reception in like 2 mins - about the only thing that's quick with this process ;)

I know what you mean, VJ make it slightly confusing with the dates they ask for n how they break it down.

I thought thats what the other person meant as well.

However Cali service Centre need to bang cases out quick time. I want to be there for Xmas if possible 🙏

Yes Christmas is a good goal

Hopefully changing the timeline input criteria can make it less confusing.

There appears to be another MAY approval today WAC1790314212 :dancing:
