Hey guys,

A little confused. VJ says that CSC is working on May 4th but I don’t see any people getting approved from that day yet... ?

VJ changed my estimation « positively » (which never happened LOL it would only move to a later date) and I am supposed to hear back this week. I know it is not super reliable but I hope they are right...

(Receive date May 3rd

NOA2 date May 5th)

🙏🏼

I am May 2nd, I’ve heard nothing

You are welcome :)

Yes now that we have activity I will be running this more often every few days, it just didn't make sense to do it often before as there wasn't any activity for May.

For anyone that wants to run the scan on there own, send me a private message and I can share the script as I have already done the hard part of scanning the case ranges. Keep in mind I will be running the scans every few days now and post results in this thread.

This will only work on windows PC, and also keep it in mind your IP gets banned after anywhere from 4800 to 5000 queries that are performed with in 24-48 hours span. May is only about 4476 cases so just don't run the scan more than once within 48 hours if you do your IP will be banned for up to 72 hours.

Also i won't be giving the script to many people as we don't want everyone running scans and hammering their servers where they would be inaccessible. So i can share it with possibly 2 or 3 people who are interested.

You will need to download the zip file and unzip it. Run the batch file called "May_Scan.bat" this will start the scan, once it is complete it will create a CSV file in the app/logs folder with the scan results.

if you are interested in running scan and are tech savy to understand the above process send me a message. :)

Thanks so much for this! Would you mind re-posting it on a weekly basis? For those of us without the tech savvy :)

We would really appreciate it!!

Thank you, that's awesome! I don't want to hammer their servers and if you are doing this kind service for us, then I don't need to run it on my own since if I have it I will have the urge to run it every time I jump on the computer lmao

Also May has 4476 cases? Is that less than usual, meaning we could get a faster turn around?

haha i can understand the impulse. Roughly about 4476 cases from what i could gather when running scans to figure out case numbers range for May.

I don't know what the actual numbers for other months as i only focused on May, I would think they are probably roughly within the same range.

I have to rotate my scanner through a few proxies. Otherwise this lovely message gets returned:

" It was reported to us that your IP address or internet gateway has been locked
out for a select period of time. This is due to an unusually high rate of use.
In order to avoid this issue, please create a Customer account (single
applicant) or a Representative account (representing many individuals)."

I can't find a monthly breakdown of applicants but I did find this quarterly breakdown by visa type in case anyone finds it helpful and/or interesting... it does seem to be fairly consistent with a couple of thousand more in the second quarter:  https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports and Studies/Immigration Forms Data/All Form Types/Quarterly_All_Forms_FY17Q3.pdf

Shall I state the obvious?

I know whenever I post about no activity then it seems to happen right after that.

Sooo....Hey there are ZERO approvals here on VJ today for 9/26 what gives?

Ok there I said it.

Now lets see if it works and the CSC Gods prove me wrong.

Hahahaha... thank you for that!!  :)

there are 3 expedited out of the 10 that were approved so far, the rest 7 that were approved were not expedited. I am convinced they just randomly pick files from a container/bucket. They must have containers assorted by months and just randomly pick a case file to work on.

the following were approved this month, out of the 7, 5 were approved yesterday.

                                                                 NOA1           NOA2

WAC1790314234    790314234    5/1/2017      9/25/2017
WAC1790314307    790314307    5/1/2017     9/25/2017
WAC1790314392    790314392    5/1/2017     9/25/2017
WAC1790314541    790314541    5/1/2017     9/25/2017
WAC1790331442    790331442    5/16/2017   9/25/2017
WAC1790333017    790333017    5/17/2017   9/21/2017
WAC1790346347    790346347    5/30/2017   9/15/2017

The ones starting with WAC1790314, have received date of April 29, I think. So, in reality only 3 have been approved. I believe, one of them is K-3, possibly WAC1790346347.

Days since Received: 151

Alright so we found the time to call today! It wasn't greats news, but it wasn't bad news so I'll take it!

I sent this long a** email to my fiancé, Mike, on the 'tips and tricks' to get a hold of a Tier 2 and questions to ask - which naturally he didn't need. He called around 11am (CT) and told the Tier 1 officer he wanted to speak with a case officer and was immediately transferred and offered a call back in 80 minutes. The Tier 2 officer called back in 60 minutes and said our case is in the final processing phase and from what he could tell the officer will not be requesting additional information and that everything appears to be in order. Mike said the guy was really nice, but they can't give out to much information (which makes sense). He went on to say that approval is based on the officer and workload (which also makes sense) and if we don't hear anything to call back in 59 days - which is 6 months and in line with the online USCIS inquiry tool. Mike finished with telling the officer he wanted to make sure our application wasn't lost and the officer said 'we haven't forgotten about you' - which makes me feel a little better!!

Anyways I hope everyone else has success in calling :)

Another 2 months and your NOA-1 is well before mine... uuguhhhhh that means its God knows how many days till my turn

I'm hopeful it won't be that long! But 6 months is when you can submit an online inquiry with USCIS, so that line makes sense.
