GUYS WHAT THE HECKKK

 

 

WE GOT APPROVED!!

my fiance called half an hour ago, tier one refused to transfer him to tier two, said all tbe march 1st stuff and that we are in normal tine process, and that there wasnt anyone else to talk to!!!

 

he tried to call again, and whsn he checked our status on the authomatic thing on the phone, it said approved! Like 5 mins later!!!!!

 

We facetimed abd I CRIED SO HARD, he told me the news on tbe video chat.. guys immso happy I cant believe it, it finally happened!???

 

 

received date apr 28, noa1 date may 1st

Soon after calling I did get notification that we were issued an RFE :( 

NOA1 Received Date: April 27th, 2017

NOA1 Notice Date: May 1st, 2017

RFE email notice: September 25th, 2017

RFE hardcopy received: September 28th, 2017

USCISs Response to RFE received: September 29th, 2017

NOA2: October 10th, 2017

NVC Received and Case Number Assigned: October 24th, 2017

NVC Left and Consulate Received: October 26th, 2017

Medical Exam: November 7th, 2017

Interview: December 5th, 2017 APPROVED

Visa on hand: December 8th, 2017

POE (LAX): December 12th, 2017

Aw im sorry, I was expecting an rfe so I got really surprised when he told me.

but at least they touched your case, its a good thing! After mailing them the stuff they ask, should be approved soon!

 

weird thing: our status got updated RIGHT after calling!

Extraordinarily bad advice. The US requires police certificates and the Manila Embassy checks them.  The Welcome letter is here in the Philippines forum. Some Police Certs take months to get.  If you wait for the letter are you willing to wait months for the police certs?  My fiancée got hers from Ireland and Korea.  My fiancée hasn’t worked in Korea since the 90s. 

 

Go over to the Philippines forum. Lots of great info there!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Even tho its not what we all want an RFE means they touched ur case and I pray u get it fixed quick! Good luck for the rest and congratulations

The previous ban carved out an exception  for  bona fid relationships with a US citizen. The new ban now prevents those with bona fid relationship as well.
