I hope I can get a December appointment.  Spent last Christmas apart.  I'm hoping to do the CFO part between the medical and interview and just get the stamps after the interview is over.  I have a feeling I'm looking very optimistic at this and thinking everything will go perfectly smooth.  I'm hoping for the 45 day interview after NOA2.  Would be about mid December and be perfect.

Try to get the CFO out of the way.  My future asawa is going on October 3.  They are appointment only and they are a good month out with those appointments.

Interesting I'll do that. $#!% I might pack my bags tonight :jest:

That is one reason why I visited 4 times this year (not including the stopover in Manila on my way to Vietnam last December!!!).  When I see sub $500 RT tickets it is hard to resist.

It's nice that you're able to visit so often. You must have a nice job or not to worried about a job to be able to go whenever you want. I'm stuck with my 9-5 job

Actually, they just enacted a "use it or lose it" mentality for PTO.  I ended up with 8 weeks coming to me that I have to use or I don't get to accumulate additional hours!!!  I admit, the timing was very good.  I had to take time off and the prices were dirt cheap.

Seems like USCIS is becoming slower and slower each week, usually there is at least some action on mondays. I am at day 151 since received date (April 27, 2017) and day 147 since notice date (May 1st, 2017) so I decided to finally start calling them. I tried to do all the necessary things like ask about the background checks and name checks in the hopes of being connected with a tier 2 officer who can supposedly give more up to date information about your case however this lady just told me that she doesn't have access and can only provide information on the current processing times (aka what USCIS posts March 1st blah blah blah). When I asked to be connected with someone who could answer these questions she said she couldn't connect me? So basically my question is, what tactics have people used to get in contact with a tier 2? Has anybody had success when calling and getting information about their case? I should just be patient because I know I should hear something soon, but this process is such a test and I'm definitely losing my patience!!!

3 times already?

I went last xmas, was $1100 round trip

Im hoping to go this xmas and she will have here visa, not looking good

(Gotta wait 5 more weeks for tiawan police report, and cant make interview appt till she has it in hand :(  )

How did you apply for the Tiawan police report, My baby worked there also but has been back in the Philippines for the past 6 months, my attorney said she might not need it, and advised me to wait and see if they ask for it when we receive the packet. I rather get it and have it on hand. Not worried about the fee, I just don't want to delay this any further. Any help would be appreciated.

I just visited in early September and I booked another trip for December.  It feels so good to be with them and hurts more each time I leave.  I am just hoping for one more trip after December.  That one is to bring them home.

I told her it be to hard to leave her again. I rather wait it out and come to her. To hard to leave here there in tears.
