I am usually very positive and my Filipina princess has been wonderful through this process, however, I am receiving updates (today) on the phone app for NOA2's from filers as early as 4/17/17....no RFE, just straight from NOA1 to NOA2. I would really go insane if I was a mid-April filer and waiting only to see May filers approved. I hope I am missing something here, but I heard that "they" will review a few at 130 days then some at 180 days to have an average of 150 days. That just does not seem fair...but life is not fair...so I guess I will suck it up and be positive again.... :) ....thanks for listening friends. AND, I agree that we should keep politics out of here as my favorite sport is now infiltrated by politics. Peace peeps!

Anyone know what the approval ratio is for NOA2?  Or reasons why someone would be denied?  I mean if you've waited 4-5 months plus time before that together, nobody should be denied in my opinion.

Denial is rare but there are legitimate reasons to get denied.  If they suspect a fake relationship, find inaccuracies in the petition, find misleading or false statements, etc...

The worse part is that there are many failure points right up to the POE that can impact all of us.  There are a few cases where everything was fine right up to the POE officer and they were denied entry into the US at the airport in the US!

These are extremely rare and are usually caused by lying on the petition.  Always tell the truth to any CO you face.  They are trained and in many cases already know the answer to the question they ask.  Just be honest, good or bad, and you should be fine.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Unfortunately they do not process them in order.  Have faith knowing you are close.

That's true. Never lie! My J1 visa was really easy, the guy asked nothing but: you study statistics? We have some crazy one here

LOL

but when I went for B1/B2, the girl asked a bunch of questions and I felt she knew the answers. Everything went alright tho. Just never lie, onthe forms, interview, POE, wherever it is!

Yes lot of Filipino singers and bands throughout asia .They seem to have cornered that market.

Must be the karaoke machines in every other house LOL

SO TRUE!!!  My future asawa is more worried about bringing her karaoke machine than her clothes.  She used to sing in a band in Korea as an OFW.

They are probably not getting much work done today as sitting around talking about the updated travel bans and the NFL.

Maybe next week ;)

Yeah, that is my point....some at 130 days and some at 180 days with an average of 150 (this year). However, with no control over this process at this time....I pray, sacrifice dead bugs to the Gods, pour my own blood into volcanos, and will consider voodoo next :) HE HEE....Ahhh...must joke a bit once in a while.

I hope you hear something soon.  I'm a June filer so I still probably have a couple more months to wait!
