Sooo I'm only 50% confident that will happen…for me at least. The Canadian embassy is sooo slow at scheduling interviews so unless I get it soon I won't be in the US until January or February. But others might have a chance!

Naaaahh....

Your NOA1 is from April 28th... They are working on your case today or tomorrow at the latest...

You should be hearing from USCIS before the end of this week.

Let me be the first to say Congratulations on your NOA2... I'm positive for you

Your embassy in canada may be slow but if you have everything ready...it shouldnt take more than 2 months for your fiancee to have his/her visa in hand...

Good luck!!!

I'm surprised it's taking that long..for you it should be easier for the interview part at least, since we have only one embassy in Moscow it's gonna take a several months to schedule the interview 😐

haha well in Trump country I'm an Alien as well!!!

We try to on a monthly basis - its still a full day of travel to get there though. But I realize how fortunate I am that we are so close compared to others - so no complaints!

I hope we can all be reunited soon and start our lives in the US :)

Let's hope so..to be honest don't wanna even plan anything. Was hoping to get married on January 4 (3 years anniversary) but I doubt it 😕 Plus by then it would be a year since we saw each other... you're really lucky 🍀

Let's just pray

Always thought for Canada the whole process would be a lot easier than for other countries for some reason

You probably will be able to get married on that date! We should be hearing something very soon - we're next in line!

We planned to do it in November (very naive!) and booked a trip to Maui - so now we'll go for a vacation and just get married at a court house whenever we have the visa.

I thought that as well about Canada!! But Canadians are one of the biggest offenders of overstaying while visiting in the US, since we don't need a visa - so no special process for us!

One of my friends from Russia got a tourist visa and came to US almost 2 years ago and they got married even when I was reading you can't do that having a tourist visa

that's "fair" 😐
