Actually NO tax returns are required UNLESS you are self-employed.

Supporting Evidence As the sponsor, you must show you have sufficient income or financial resources to assure that the foreign national you are sponsoring will not become a public charge while in the United States. Evidence should consist of copies of any of the documents listed below that apply to your situation. Failure to provide evidence of sufficient income or financial resources may result in the denial of the foreign national’s application for a visa or his or her removal from the United States. Submit in duplicate evidence of income and resources, as appropriate:

A. Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institutions with deposits, identifying the following details regarding the account: (1) Date account opened; (2) Total amount deposited for the past year; and (3) Present balance.

B. Statement(s) from your employer on business stationery showing: (1) Date and nature of employment; (2) Salary paid; and (3) Whether the position is temporary or permanent.

C. If self-employed: (1) Copy of last income tax return filed; or (2) Report of commercial rating concern.

D. List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).

So when they ask for more evidence of our realtionship what do they want? We have our daily chata from facebook and video calls, I got recepits from where i bought wedding rings and bands. Also bought her a better engagement ring. Did take one with me but will switch out when she comes. She was worried someone rob her if she had a nicer one. So what info would they need?

I was told by lawyer to send my pictures and chats between the timw u filed the i129f and the approval. This is just in case they ask for more at the interview.

For those who need tax returns it is better to get an actual transcript directly from the IRS for Free.

Technically anyone can just download a blank form 1040 from the internet and put whatever numbers they want.

By coming directly from the IRS it will carry more weight.

Here is the link.

Well I'm taking to the interview the same pictures we mailed them. They want proof that your relationship is ongoing even after you filed,so as we havent seen each other after we filed, I'm printing a BUNCH of chats screenshot, facebook stuff, texts with his mom, emails.. facetime story.

things like that

That is true. No harm in bringing the transcripts. Different embassies can be more picky.

The US Embassy in the Philippines rarely as in 99% of the time never ask for any financials for K-1 unless maybe the they think there is some definite income issue or they are simply looking for a reason to not issue the visa.

You should be fine. Just sent a few screenshots of chats and the flower receipt, cards etc.. I'm not taking a BOOK to the interview. Like a screenshot for everyday.. that would be insane haha, I'm doing like two photos of chats a month.

also, showingthat you sent her money is a bad idea. I've heard of k1 being denied cause of that, CO may think you're kinda "buying" a fiancee or smth like that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ thats what I read here, so I wouldn't risk it

Then we will not send that. I sent her flowers and cake for her bday that would be a good idea to show? I plan on sending a screen shoot of each day lol.

and I will print facetime screenshots that we do every week, tbh I think it's more than enough to prove an ongoing relationship lol
