Hi All,

I'm putting final touchs on my package today and will ship. Question  if i want to ship it by USPS Express mail do i send it to Po Box address or the Fedex/UPS Address?

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:
For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266

For FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:
USCIS
Attn: I-129F
2501 South State Highway 121 Business
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

Send it to the Lewisville address. The PO Box is for regular mail. Priority Mail was $6.45 for me as opposed to Express which was like $25. Mailed Monday night, it was signed for on Wednesday.

The bold statement above is inaccurate. The speed of USCIS has nothing to do with them sending the old form back. The 12/23/2016 is the only version that's being accepted until June 9th so other predated versions are being sent back. The postmark date that is on the package is what they go by. It works the same when they changed the fee back in December. If the postmark date was before the change date, it will be accepted.

And the "ugly" g-325a is the same information that now makes the new K1 petition an additional 7 pages. So, while it will make it more convenient and eco-friendly after June 9th, its all the same information being submitted.

I did the new version, which was a lot longer. It asked some additional questions.... Like do you have children under the age of 18. It also provided additional space to explain answers. Two pages was certificate of translator or someone preparing the petition other than the petitioner. The new one also asks for biographical information, race, height, weight, eye color, hair color. Which the older version did not. I still submitted the G325 forms, which I ddint know you didnt need to with the new version.

Any supplement to the petition needs to be signed and dated. For example, if you supplied a separate detail document l/attachment of how you met your fiance  it needs to be signed and dated.

Photos, need to have the name of everyone in the picture, location,  and date on the back of each photo.

I would recommend that you review the K1 visa guidelines on this site as it provides this information in detail so that you don't miss anything before sending out your petition.

First notice I have about this... of course I knew we had to sign all letters and forms and we did that. But photos too? And chat screenshots? ####### it seems unnecessary. I've read that they need to be dated, but I've never seen that they also need to be signed. I have already sent the package, I received NOA1, so I can't fix that right now.  I suppose I have to wait for a RFE ...

I saw it last minute in the 129f instructions for the new form. Don't worry though I'm sure everything will work out!

You DO NOT have to sign the pictures, screenshots etc. As it has stated in the instructions AND on the visa guidelines on this website, only if you're including additional information that needs to be explained in detail that requires more space than the question on the petition provides.

Proof of relationship is not something you have to do this for. Just make sure you have a duplicate copy of your entire packet just in case things get lost or misplaced or whatever. However, on the back of every picture you send in, you have to write the names of everyone in the particular picture, the location of where it was taken and the date (if you don't remember the specific date, at least have the month and the year).

This may be true for the old form, but the new form and the accompanying instructions state otherwise.

Question 54 says to attach evidence of your meeting in person and to use Part 8 for additional room. The instructions for Part 8 says what I posted above and that everything needs to be signed and labeled and dated.

Also in the new instructions I don't see anything pertaining to what you wrote above in bold about pictures unless I missed it. Right now I think this site is out of date regarding the new form and how to fill it out properly.

The old form you used dies in less than a month. Please aware yourself of the new form's rules so you don't mistakenly misinform someone causing them to get an rfe

I have just checked the new form and instructions and I see nowhere they state you have to sign and date all evidence provided.

What they say, as I understand it, is you have to do that if you need to add extra pages to address any of the numbered items in the form... aka, explaining how you met the past two years as required in question 54. That statement you sign and date, but not the additional evidence.

I guess we'll see! In the new instructions it says to attach evidence in part 8 and then sign and date as in the pic I posted before. I printed my pictures and captions on high quality paper with captions, and labeled everything as evidence pertaining to question 54 and signed and dated them like it said to. I also did this with every photocopy of my visas, lease, passport stamps, etc. I could be wrong, but it is a new form.
