How much did it cost you in gas to drive though to try and save on plane fair?

I only live 5 hrs aways it was 30 for gas going and coming. Drove a a little for fusion gets 40 mpg. A friend of mine works for almao car rental so he gave me a car that they needed there and i brought one back thatbwas for here. So in the end i save about 400 after gas and food. Even to fly my fiance in its still cheaper. I live by Lousiville Ky but going west from here os higher. Its even cheaper to fly out of Indy  to most places in the state then louisville

If reliable, an immigration lawyer who happened to be a retired USCIS officer. You think he is a reliable source? I guess he is as claims to maintain contact with colleagues in the field.

THAT is definitely a reliable source.

The most I've ever paid for Chicago to Manila roundtrip was $525.  I've made 4 trips so far this year.  I'm going back in December.  I've flown Asiana, JAL, and United.  I get my tickets through Expedia and have never had a single problem.

I flew from Chicago to Cebu back in april and it was right around 550. I will look at other airlines ty.

My Fiancee and I got into an argument earlier over this long wait. We miss each other so long, we took it out on each other lol. But, We made up tho :) This wait is reaaaallly stressful. But, as you say; it could be worse.

I know it could be worse.. but we are both depressed and we were apart for a year and a half.. it's so frustrating that we can't be together after all this time.

We have phases, right now we are on the "argue for every little thing" and it sucks. I feel hopeless sometimes.

sorry to vent :(
